Die Band um Gitarrist, Mandolinist und Sänger Raffaele E. Quarta weiht den Hörer in die Rezeptgeheimnisse einer musikalischen Mahlzeit ein. Wie ein königliches Bankett erklingt die anspruchsvolle Kost der Band, verziert mit süßen Bossa-Nova-Akkorden und Gypsy-Swing-Themen, scharfe Latin- und Balkanrhythmen, serviert mit deftigen Funkgrooves und mildsäuerlichen folkloristischen Melodien.

Täglich wechselnde Bandimprovisation gekrönt mit italienischen Menütexten ergeben ein ergreifendes Musikkonzentrat. Die Popa Raff Band stammt aus München und wurde 2011 gegründet.

Die Musik ist authentisch, inspiriert und begeistert dabei das Publikum mit neuen Sounds. Eine vom Publikum der Band trefflich kreierte Stilbezeichnung ist „Urlaubsgroove“, nach dem Motto: „das Konzert zu erleben, war wieUrlaub“. Es gibt wohl keinen besseren Begriff für diese Musik.

Adam Layne Fisher is the frontman for the Downtown Revival Band and leads worship with them every Sunday. They have a passion for infusing rock and pop accessibility with an authentic worship style.
