Co-founder of French trio 192gmbh, Reusbi is an equal part driving force and musical influence that takes his cues from all corners of the sonic sphere. Possessing a penchant for the lush as much as the noisy, his tastes are impossibly hard to pin down, but this is the beauty in his style. With curve balls waiting at every turn, there is really no guessing which direction is next on the agenda, but having the skills to take you there is an entirely different proposition. This is something that Reusbi and his two cohorts have in spades. Word is also getting out, as, like our party at Hoppetosse a few weeks back many more are clamouring for a slice of what he has in his record bag.

Being able to mix the smooth with the wonky is a skill that few can harness as deftly as Reusbi can. His selections are well hidden, his vibe eclectic but not for the sake of being so, and his transitions are smooth like butter. As well as nu school gems the Frenchman is also not afraid to offer a timely reminder of cross over nuggets such as Claude Von Stroke’s eerily satisfying “Who’s Afraid Of Detroit”. After all, Djing is all about context and his tracks segue so well together partly down to the fine curation of his music. This is an ethos that shines out of his mix for our InSession series that will draw fans and future fans back to this mix again and again.

From releasing music that sounds far ahead of our time from up-and-coming artists such as Jon Jones, Wigs, Beltrac & a recent reissue of 90s works from Alien Signal, to collating his own vast collection and showcasing it through his many sets, online mixes, and radio guest spots.

Tap in (or out) to this 2-hour and 40-minute time frame of sonic reveries, where you’ll be taken to an oasis of mind-melting and nurturing rhythms, getting lost and far from your physical being, only to return with an expansive breath of new life.

 Welcome to the Transmissions mix series, featuring sets recorded at our parties at FOLD. 

For our opening mix, we’re delighted to share a recent Steam Room session with the Bangkok-based selector and producer Sunju Hargun. 

For two hours, he delivered a masterclass of immersive, deep and psychedelic techno. And true to style, the set is a seamless flow of intricate rhythms and subtly shifting textures, shadowy grooves and pulsating basslines.  

This mix was mastered in the Area52 Studio.
