Used to be formerly known as DEKAY, Danny Kotz is a Musician, Producer, and DJ/Live act. Currrently based in Israel, Originally hails from Jerusalem and now resides in Berlin. in the last 15 years, Danny has been known for his incursions into the deep end of spacious minimal techno and deep house.  Both as a producer and a remixer, his fascinating driven, uplifting live sets and his unique and sometimes peculiar electronic production style is blending between his love for analog synths and digital sound design. His musical background as a jazz keyboard player and his passion for electronic music production in the studio, turned him into  a multi versatile musician. You can find in his musical resume productions which are ranging between deep techno and house, minimal, electro, synth-pop, and experimental Avantgarde. In the past 15 years, Danny has been touring and performing around Berlin and Europe's leading clubs, and  has been releasing music under different aliases and labels. He had also been collaborating with many other artists as well. One of these interesting projects was a collaboration with Dj Magit Cacoon that resulted in a Remixes EP to the album Voyage 34 of the legendary musician Steven Wilson and his band Porcupine Tree.
On the visual side of his work, is the production of ecstatic music videos  to top up the music. The video clip of the title track of his EP “Reject” with Avi Caspi on  “made of CONCRETE”, was supported by Kompakt records and had been constantly reposted on their social media channels. The release received positive reviews on various platforms such as Groove magazine XlR8R When we dip, and Beatport to name a few. Danny’s music was as well supported and played by major DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Felix Da Housecat, Nicole Moudaber, Terrence Parker, Ejeca, Richie Hawtin, Agoria, And Charlotte De Wette. For the last 3 years, Danny was busy manifesting his two old dreams. Setting up his own band and his own Music label in the form of De Wolt and Hypernatural Recordings which he shares with both of his buddies and partners in crime Bobby Starrr and Stefano Di Puma aka Berry Feels.  Topped by two music videos, the release of the debut conceptual album LP ‘Lost and Found In Berlin’  with De Wolt this year, has marked a major mile stone in Danny’s crier as well as an indie electronic artist and producer and performer. With these platforms, he is fulfilling both of his passions to Club music,  indie music production and songwriting and playing Live shows.

Up-and-coming artist born and raised in Honduras, hailing from the
industrial city of San Pedro Sula, this DJ/producer has forged his own
path in the Central American scene, putting together some of the most
promising events in the area. Founder and manager of Retune Music, one
of the first labels in the region that has also attracted big talents
from all over the world, signing artists like Alexi Delano, Butane,
Click Box, Ronan Portela, Jade and many more.

The Retune camp is currently one of the primary outlets of Central
American house and techno, defying limitations and constantly extending
its reach to different parts of the world. The experience gained from
this has allowed Ramón to evolve and develop a distinct style, blending
drawn-out, chunky basslines with subtle melodies and playful percussion
patterns - these sounds ultimately combine to take the listener on a
journey across different yet harmonious frequencies in every one of his
sets.

Since the beginning of this musical odyssey, he gained a reputation as a
precise selector who can read a crowd with ease. The mix of these traits
along with his energy and drive have resulted in him being one of the
most prominent figures in the region, a resident of the infamous SUNJAM
Festival, and the brains behind all Retune Music events where he focuses
on fresh, forward-thinking musical offerings, which include the
highly-revered PULHANATION festival. The main idea behind all this is
originality and innovation, intentionally deviating from the norm.

Without a doubt an enthusiast on a perpetual musical adventure.

Currently signed to UnterNull Records (Berlin), Subb-Beat Records, Encore House Records and of course Afterlight Records.

In 2010 Steve released his debut track 'After Dark' on Rebeat, this instantly gained support from Techno heavyweights Tom Cloverfield (Ultrasonic) and Alexander Fog (Techno Mafia Records) with Alexander offering to remix Steve's next production which was signed to Berlin based UnterNull Records.

Steve is regularly on remix duty for labels such as Subb-Beat Records and Encore House.

When DJing Steve plays a combination of Deep Progressive House, Tech House and Techno. He has an adaptable style that lends itself to playing warm-ups, back rooms and peak time main room slots.
