Founded in 2004, Volfoniq is a "one-man-dub" from the south of France (Montpellier). In a retro-futuristic mood, he uses his classical formation (clarinet) and a rich musical history to produce a dub that goes farther than tags, respecting the jamaican roots, but adventuring into new lands of experimentation. 

Sometimes digital, sometimes roots, clearly electro or acoustic, reggae, ragga, ska, with slices of tango or triphop riddim, the generosity of Volfoniq's music equals its humility.

Encounters and sharing are at the center of Volfoniq's approach, that led him to collaborate with numerous artists from different kinds and places : Disrupt (Jahtari – Germany), Bo Marley (Jahtari – Denmark), Dr Dub (LCL - Nederlands), Azzurro (Loud &amp; proud – Japan), Hyqo (Japan), Kou Chou Ching (Taiwan), Ras Amerlock (Jahtari – USA), Arrogalla (Nootempo – Sardinia), Sardinia Bass Legalize (A Quiet Bump – Sardinia), Hotdrop (La famille – Spain), Peak &amp; Jambassa (A Quiet Bump – Italy), Morpho (A Quiet Bump – France), Roots Ista Posse (Fresh Poulp - France)...

Szjerdene's voice is both earthly in its soul and celestial in its purity: soothingly familiar, and yet unmistakably distinct. 

Her self-released debut EP ‘Patchwork EP’ dropped in 2012. After a live video performance caught the ear of Simon Green, alias Bonobo, hot on its heels followed a collaboration on his fifth studio album ‘The North Borders’. Despite embarking on an exhaustive world tour that took in 175 shows in 30 countries over the course of 18 months, she quickly amassed a second body of work, and by late 2014 she was back in the studio once again.

The result was her second EP ‘Paragon’, presented in its blissful entirety in 2015. Featuring three singles co¬-written and produced by Lapalux, it comprised six original tracks, each sequentially unveiling its own related tale of love, loss and self¬ discovery. Szjerdene’s spellbindingly pure voice and stirring melodies collide seamlessly throughout, their signature frameworks resulting in a sublime, immersive collection.

Following the release of singles ‘Restart’ and ‘Rain’ in 2019, Szjerdene bares her soul with the launch of her third solo EP ‘Trace’. Dappled in dreamy swathes of string instrumentation and Szjerdene’s innate capability to write with her heart on her sleeve, the release of her third EP ‘Trace’ is her most personal work to date – an unapologetic statement of artistic intent.

Bio 
Fakear's electronic collages are inspired by influences as divergent but inspiring as the post-dubstep scene in London, and the films of Miyazaki. 
Having established a fervent fanbase in his native France, Fakear has gifted his globally-tuned dance music to an even larger audience after dates supporting Bonobo and ODESZA across the US and Canada. He’s made waves in the UK as well, garnering deserved notice from a consistently attention-catching figure herself—M.I.A.— who tapped the young phenom to produce tracks on her latest record and asked him to perform at her Meltdown Festival in London. His last record "Talisman" sees him tap in his old influences, but with the experience and techniques of his 10ish years experience in music producing.
