In the beginning, there was sound. Sound began the whole thing, and in sound resides tremendous power. It opens doorways to other realities. For with the production of sound, an energy can move from one system to another. When you utilize sound, it is quite easy to bypass the logical mind , shifting the channel by intending and being clear. Allow sounds to come through your body, not just by singing specific notes, but rather by letting combinations of sounds play your bodies as if they are instruments. These sounds go beyond the logical mind.

Dual Natured is one reflection of the spirituality that flourishes in the culture of underground bass music. As we find ourselves in a world that is far from spiritual nourishing, we dwell and harbor our values in the shadows of the underground. These sounds, to me, represent the inner turmoil of being at peace with yourself whilst being entirely frustrated with the world that surrounds you. They also act as a healthy and therapeutic conduit to channel emotions like these through movement and meditation. 

We however, will not lurk in the shadows forever. The pot is boiling over, and a great war is upon us... and sounds like these will prevail as the war songs of our counter culture.

Mochakk’s achievements in 2023 alone demonstrate how influential and respected he has become, with his online fanbase growing to over 3.5 million followers across his socials. He sold out a 5,000-capacity show for leading broadcaster Cercle at the Plaza de España in Seville (the set has almost 4 million views), played over 160 shows in 29 countries, and joined the family at DC-10 as a resident. On that note, Mochakk also released the huge single ‘Jealous’ with Circoloco Records, alongside his killer remixes of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’’ and Diplo’s ‘Express Yourself’. 2023 also saw the launch of his Tricks And Tracks event series, merging his love of skateboarding with electronic music for a unique party. Elsewhere, his Mochakk Calling events have sold out at every worldwide location so far. At the end of 2023 he was named by both Amazon Music and Spotify Mint as Artist to Watch in 2024, wrapping up a hugely successful 2023 with the promise of an even bigger year ahead...
