Dj bingo aka Ninja Priest is a Brno(CZ)-based producer and a DJ. Oscillating between soft cute melodies and epic EDM kicks, his contrasting music appeared on compilations by BCAAsystem, Unizone, Soft or Swine World. The upcoming EP to be released on BCAAsystem is a sensitive conceptual walk through buzzing of distorted space-time, an uncanny landscape that’s always there yet beyond our grasp.

The ever-reliable London label welcome Montreal artist, laced, who delivers a dreamy cut of sugar-coated rainbow electronics, including a remix from fellow Canadian SIM.

As she closed her eyes she watched colours bleed into one another. They were so vivid she could feel them pour over her face and down her neck. She pictured how it would look. As a deep scarlet filled her ear and a rich blue licked her neck, she too found herself melting into colour.

Caustic Reverie is a 4-track EP which combines the warmth of highly-processed synthesised sounds with harshness of percussive instrumentation in a sunshine-doused exploration of depth and texture. Crisp blips, swishes and tiny twangs tempt the touch, creating a soundscape at once futuristic and psychedelic: not a far cry from the music of foodman or Smerz.
 
On the title track, vibrant synth plucks reverberate around a cavernous space, warming the atmosphere before mutating into a broken techno rhythm. Bolstered by low-end hits and peppered with Jessy Lanza-esque vocal chops, this one’s a real treat for the ears.

Titled Buông, the debut EP draws from a word dear to Anh Phi mother's heart, meaning “to let go” in Vietnamese, echoing resilience, impermanence, and the intergenerational dichotomy of both forced and privileged migrations. It was composed in constant transition across borders, East and West, underlaid by paradigm shifts and diasporic discourses. Anh Phi’s Buông is a visceral exploration, inward and outward.

Multilayered modern metropolises, primal tribal feels, global borderless club mutations, Nam Cát Tiên biosphere, cinematic plots, twists &  cliffhangers… “OI” — timeline collapses, equanimity, transmutation, mess & order —,  “Ạ” — memories lost in translation, testimonies, mother tongue & alien tongue, morphed bikes, organic arpeggio birds  —,  “()” — breaths, autonomous sensory meridian response, childhood reminiscence, body movements, play —, “Ừ” — soil, light, wind, bells, rite, propelling to space…

It all converges at the intersection of uncertainty and clarity, where no answer is given yet sparse ingredients are digested. Systems and beliefs reset to the unknown. Mining an unreal epoch.
In between spaces yet to be discovered.
Swarm of flying beings diving into new lights.

‘The Immaterium is a strange and terrible place. You might as well throw a traveller into a sea of sharks and tell him to swim home send him through The Warp unprotected.’

With “Warp Sharks”, UK producers Eyeza and Diessa join forces for a blood-curdling 4-tracker. Inspired by Warhammer 40K characters and lore, this boundary pushing EP combines dark themes of the 40K world with heavy club-focused weaponry.

“The Warp” is an alternate dimension of chaos and psychic energy underlying the material universe. It is simultaneously understood to be a medium by which faster-than-light interstellar travel is possible. “Warp Sharks” could be said to evoke these elements; high-bpm drum breaks throughout the record emulate a sense of frenetic speed while manic synth progressions and energy blasts build towards a sense of peril. Within each composition, multiple rave-friendly genres are saturated under a blanket of distortion and impact. The record opens with “Karandras,” where eerie vocals, arpeggios and heavy drums flow in and out of each other, with intermittent waves of static and sci-fi warble. “Penitent Engine” begins the next phase: gritty wobbles and drum breaks combine under washes of dramatic ambience before teasing in and out of a heavy techno beat. The track morphs into something more vicious two-and-a-half minutes in, where stuttering breaks come to the fore, supported by kicks and 808s that swarm rapidly in elaborate club rhythms. The title track follows with intricate breaks steadily firing over heavy bass lines. “Nuns with Guns” concludes the record, where gabber kicks snap through dub inspired vocal chops and fluttering snares.

The record’s relentless energy evolves with every track, each composition seamlessly blending genres of underground electronic music. “Warp Sharks”, like many Infinite Machine releases, is unapologetically experimental, while remaining accessible to dance floors.

After experience with the punk band Pogo Polis, and later power trio Jenny, Emma Louise Ottsen Knudsen has been an active force in Copenhagen's underground music scene.

Her current musical outlet is << Nemo >> and her two released singles of 2023 have already reached the national radio in Denmark and been featured in several online media outlets. 

The forthcoming single "Ocean", is a deeper dive into her peculiar electronic world, a snippet of what to expect from her debut album Blue is the Colour of Infinity this spring.
