Warning! Conga line in progress... 

King Conga was probably the easiest boss for me as a COTND noob. This piece was a blast to remix, because there were convenient pauses where I could switch the soundtracks in and out. Then, the song would eventually play with one soundtrack, then switch to another when the pause happened. 

I think I was taking a really creative approach in this remix.

END OF THE LINE! 

Death Metal is honestly a great boss; his design is awesome, and his soundtrack is wicked. And if you didn't think there could be a metal cover of a metal song, you're wrong. Thanks, FamilyJules7x! 

Again, getting the drumbeats to cooperate is an issue with most boss mixes. Also, there's a little segment of the song that's played at the beginning of Danny's soundtrack, omitted in Virt and GirlFriend Records, and at the end of the rest of the soundtracks. 

Also, Girlfriend Records's Metalmancy is slowed down to half speed. If you speed it up and layer it over the rest of the soundtracks, it fits.

Metalmancy

Metalmancy (Death Metal) MEGAMIX

"Knight to C-Sharp" was a great piece to remix, based on the different styles and rhythms employed by different remix artists for this composition. 

I've essentially looped the song four times to capture the overall works of all 7 remix artists. The first loop includes A_Rival's and FamilyJules7x's EDM and metal covers respectively, which bring out the melody clearly throughout the piece. The second loop includes the Girlfriend Records and Overclocked Records remixes, which follow a very similar 4/4 beat system that worked well in this mash. The third loop features the chiptune artists, Virt and Chipzel, which also worked well with bass instruments and drumbeats. And the final loop is just every remix on top of each other.

Knight to C-Sharp (Deep Blues) MEGAMIX

It's actually a shame that the best boss track of the soundtrack is used on the easiest boss in the game. 

I think the best remix for this piece is OverClocked Remix's "Deep Sea Bass", remixed by PrototypeRaptor. There's not many ways to describe it, except that it's really "smooth" in a way. Great job, OCR! 

What I tried to do with this piece is similar to Konga Conga Kappa, which is essentially alternating different soundtracks based on the music. It made a very similar effect, except that the song was now long enough to include a section where both soundtracks could be layered on top of each other.

Deep Sea Bass

Deep Sea Bass (Coral Riff) MEGAMIX

Again, a great boss soundtrack with exceptional character design. 

First, because a dead ringer is an "exact duplicate" of someone (spoiler alert, he's Dorian), and second, because the artists actually based Dead Ringer's armor design off of Dark Souls 2 armour. 

Only two artists remixed this song: FamilyJules7x and OverClocked Records. Even though their major boss remixes weren't featured in the game, I'd like to pay homage to the work they've done for these great works of music.
