Blake Andrew(Kalamazoo, Michigan) is a techno and electronic music producer and Dj who’s time in the game dates back to the 90s, like my own. He has released music independently and on labels Wave Signal Records (Netherlands) and Amphiboly Records (Detroit). Blake is the founder of @Djfrequencies, an underground techno blog, podcast, and Dj collective, that has supported underground artists and events for over 15 years.

Our streams take place in the beautiful Mena, located in the heart of Kreuzberg, in a charming garden house. The best part is that admission is free – everyone is welcome without having to pay a dime!

The experienced Canarian DJ and selector, standard bearer of avant-garde electronic music from the fortunate islands, lands with a new installment of our Podcast showing his chill-most, unbothered, easygoing side. 

Revolving between B-sides, among his 20-year-career crates, tracks run along in a 80 to 115 BPMs range where Javier keeps on spilling sound quality through enveloping rhythms, brimming with groove that extend with dreamlike atmospheres and intertwine with syncopated rhythms full of polyrhythms . 

Relayed-runner of the pioneer Titto la Rocka, he has been a fundamental in the dissemination and understanding of  intellectual and forward-thinking underground music scene, not only in Gran Canaria, but throughout the 8 islands. 

Pegatina, his own conceptual event with residency in Barcelona is a must-go, opting for eclectic artists of the highest quality who are not necessarily found in most common clubs or festivals of our scene. Thus asserting, his skill as a connoisseur and booker.

As Look Perry, his aka as a producer, in addition to Terms, label and sub alias in production, has left us with some true gems that have led him to be recognized by artists like Saoirse in her 2023 London's Fabric annual compilation.
