Elesbaan es sin ningún genero de dudas uno de los puntales de la escena techno madrileña, agitador incansable y uno de los principales responsables de mantener la cultura de la música electronica y su movimiento en la importante escena de la capital. 

Ya desde el año 93 estuvo a cargo, además de ser dj residente, del mítico club Soma, de un proyecto innovador, visionario, que marcó un antes y un después en la escena donde compartió amistad y trabajo con infinidad de artistas de primerísimo nivel....hasta los días de hoy donde se encuentra en uno de sus momentos mas activos, maduros y reflexivos ofreciendo siempre una vision reflexiva, comprometida y única de su música.

Este es un Podcast especial con el que celebramos su 25 aniversario en la profesión, además ofrecérnoslo como regalo con motivo de su 43 cumpleaños. Nos deleita con un set especial a vinilos donde encontramos un Elesbaan fiel al E.B.M, la corriente Belga o el sonido New Beat, para el que ha contado con el apoyo, soporte y máximo cariño de Rosy&Santo y Rafa Navarro.

Based in the rural highlands of Scotland, the ‘Flick’ frontman has been championed for his contribution to the scene in his hometown and further afield. With over a decade of musical experience, Acutek’s palate can be described as ethereal Techno with rough edges.

For AFP004 we welcome Helrad !! Born and bred in Naples, Helrad has been a lover of electronic music for over 20 years. Since moving to Scotland 3 years ago and starting to produce, he has been meticulously developing his sound. Taking influence from producers such at Slam, Silicone Soul and Joe Farr.

Since starting his label Helrad Limited over two years ago he has collaborated with Steve Still, Joe Farr, Stanislav Tolkachev and Hans Bouffmyhre. Helrad has been working on a forthcoming EP coming out on Joe Farr's label "User Experience" along with a track on Jamaica Suk's quadruple vinyl album which will be released later in the year along with some very familiar names.

24-year-old Glasgow emerging techno producer Katalysk has been a presence on the Scottish circuit for the past six years playing a host of reputable venues such as Club 69, La Belle Angele, Stereo, Biscuit Factory, La Cheetah and Flat o/1, along with a handful of undisclosed locations. Katalysk is in the process of developing his own sound which, like his playing style, is a coherent blend of tough and functional tracks that maintain hypnotic and rhythmic overtones.

Coninciding with here latest release, Hyperfocus, via our own Animal Farm Records, AFP016 comes from Canadien born, Berlin based Mary Velo. Having got involved in music at an early age. It wasn’t till the 80’s where she discovered Depeche Mode and got attracted to deep & moody sounds. In 2007, Mary Velo moved to Berlin where she got strongly influenced in the Deep House & Techno scene.

With a creditable discography which includes releases on labels such as Frozen Border, Semantica, Gynoid Audio & Diffuse Reality, Mary has proven that hard work gets you somewhere.
