Animal Defection è il progetto dei fratelli Pastorelli, Alberto e Gilberto aka Numskull e Gbee, formatosi nel 2010 ad Arezzo. La loro prima release, " Donkey " è uscita nel 2012 su BNC Express e un'altra (Arcadia) sarà pubblicata entro la fine del 2014 su Avantgarde Recordings. Nei 4 anni successivi alla formazione, il duo si esibisce al fianco di importanti dj del panorama italiano e internazionale del calibro di Pendulum, Roni Size, Prolix, BTK, Enei, Jade, Rido, Mefjus, Maztek, Aeph, Dabs, Hanzo & Randie, Hallucinator, Kung, Nocturnal, ArpXp, InsideInfo,Black Sun Empire, Neonlight. I loro set sono da sempre definiti dai bassi potenti e dalle atmosfere scure tipiche della Neurofunk e della Minimal Funk.
