Uns kam zu Ohren, Wien sei das „neue Leipzig“? Dieser waghalsigen These gilt es auf die Spur zu gehen – hören wir also mal ganz genau in Igelkarussell-Runde #89 mit MataHari und Volker Arnold hinein!
Die beiden Wiener sind Teil der Crews Journey to Tarab & Immer mit der Ruhe. Auf dem diesjährigen Tarmac Festival haben sie zusammen mit Düsentrieb ein legendäres Set zelebriert. Wer es noch nicht kennt - Reinhören lohnt sich.

Kurzweiliger als in ihrem 3-stündigen Mix für uns ließe sich eine Reise wohl kaum gestalten: Direkt zurück in den Sommer katapultiert, werden eure Sinne hier durch eine sorgsam abgestimmte, wohltemperierte und aufeinander aufbauende Track-Auswahl geführt. Vocals und Harmoniewechsel immer genau an der richtigen Stelle, schenken die Jungs uns einen wahrlich groovigen Einstieg in die Adventszeit.

Gerade noch rechtzeitig, um dem wiederkehrenden Wahnsinn um uns herum mit Positivität und Ausgelassenheit zu trotzen! Danke euch beiden für die wohlverdiente Auszeit 🙌

Lauschen sie den wundervollen, elektronischen Klängen und blenden sie alles, was sich um sie herum befindet, aus. Konzentrieren sie sich voll und ganz auf die aneinandergereihten Töne und lassen sie diese auf sich wirken. Sie werden merken wie es ihnen von Ton zu Ton, von Takt zu Takt besser geht. This time we're more than happy to invite our friends, the new dynamic disco queens of @haensenundgretel. Well, we guess you already know them. So no words needed, right? The justified rocket start of these two super talents speaks for itself: Wilde Möhre, Kabinett der Kuriositäten, Wilde Renate, Fusion.

Only one thing is that we still don't understand: Is there anyone else who can mix so many Schlager (hits) in such a cool way?  
We think that is a true Jungbrunnen. 

This sunday we're gathering for some champaigne at Wilde Möhre's Puppenräuber and listen to some more #slowdisco by Haensen&Gretel. Their sunday sets are notorious.  

"Der Jungbrunnen" (fountain of youth) is our platform to feature a following generation of talented artists from the neighbourhood and beyond.

I still don’t have any words for this incredible energy and vibe at KaterBlau on Monday evening. It felt like the Acid Bogen was on fireee!
Thanks to all the great people who’ve been there and contributed to this very unique moment. Also to all my friends who came to support - I love you big time!

Kleines Interview:
🌸 Fühlst du dich wohl in Leipzig? 

Oh ja! Leipzig ist meine absolute Wahlheimat und ich könnte mir keine schönere Stadt zum Leben vorstellen. Als ich vor 5 Jahren zum ersten Mal dort war, war ich direkt total begeistert und diese Begeisterung hat bis heute nicht abgenommen. Und ich sehe immer noch ein großes Potential in der Stadt und finde es spannend, wie sich entwickelt. 
Außerdem habe ich mit dem Ostend eine großartige Crew in Leipzig gefunden, für die ich sehr dankbar bin.

🌸 Welche Sache hast du diesen Sommer über dich gelernt? 
Ich hatte so viele einprägsame und schöne Momente - jede Menge auf jeden Fall. Unter anderem habe ich zum Beispiel gelernt, dass es ein gutes Zeitmanagement braucht, wenn man ein Masterstudium und das Auflegen gut unter einen Hut bekommen will 😁

🌸 Wie und was isst du am liebsten zum Frühstück? 
Mit einem guten Obstmüsli kann man morgens nichts falsch machen!

Aiming for melodic-progressive club sets, he as well is passionate about even deeper, emotionally profound downtempo music and podcasts.

As one of leipzig based head figures of @ost_end club and music label, he designed his very own vibe also in producing music on a variety of labels.
