Hello, my name is Gosha (DJ Rheedoo).

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine (or USSR to be exact).

Arrived to NYC in 98, enjoyed golden years of East Coast psy-trance scene.  
2000s brought in groovy-morning-progressive which became my favorite type of vibration. Ambient and dub experiences were a good balance to that. Many beautiful gatherings to remember.

During my visit to Ukraine in 2008, I took part in a land-art and world/ethno music festival, which completely enchanted me with the beauty of traditional art forms re-animated by young, creative, and open humans.
Since then I began re(dis)covering connections to my ethnical and even tribal identity, and as result became very much influenced by world and ethnic music from the Eastern Europe. And I found that traditionally people from Balkans to Carpathian Mountains area were very musically gifted and their folk tunes are rather groovy and quite danceable (by no means I am saying they are the only ones!).

On the other hand, all over the world ethno music brings on transcendent experiences whenever you dig deeper, to shamanic and Vedic traditions existed before organized religions and even before language. And music like that is magnetic throughout the globe; it brings out the aboriginal wisdom of primal connection to the Earth.

When this heritage gets plugged into modern processing hardware and software, the sky is the limit.

Style boundaries are pushed even further with remixing and collaborations all over the globe. 
Dub, traditional music, electronica, ambient soundscapes weave the rich fabric of harmony and cacophony.
I try to follow a story when putting songs and tracks in the mix, the story that brings me home - to the Heart.


Oleg Slepak and Shay Raban ( aka DJ Earthian) are Animaltek, Producer/DJ duo from NYC, that explores the wide range of sound and rhythmic possibilities for dance floor theory and practice. Since 2007 they released over 15 releases on 12 labels such as Treibstoff, WIR, Resopal, Neopren, Living records, FlowVinyl, Iboga, Elektrotribe and Thoughtless, among others. Many of their tracks appeared in charts, radio playlists and mixed cd's of the World's Top DJ's such as John Digweed, Sasha, Kiss 100, Satoshi Tomie, Anthony Pappa, DJ Hell, M. Schaffhauser, G. Ananda, M. Yanovsky among others.
DE:BUG, the french TSUGI and 'Progressive-Sounds' gave positive reviews to some of their releases.
Shay and Oleg are sharing a deep rooted passion for electronic music and club culture. it is reflected in strongly unique energy and musicality of the perfomance of the duo, whether playing live or djing. Animaltek played to rocking dance floors worldwide from Eastern Russia to deserts of California and everywhere in between. They made a serious buzz among party goers and music analyzers, representing the underground New York sound and vibe.
