Chapter 4 

Merkaba Music has always had a sold focus on dance floor friendly groove. Being a part of a psychedelic subculture has also helped shape the textures and flavors of sound throughout the catalog. 
Solid Stone pulls together a coherent selection of squelchy, edgy, deep, bouncy and sometimes heavy grooves that seek to stimulate the mind as well as the body. 
Selecting these tunes and telling them as a story was an absolute delight that formed and flowed, like most of the mixes in the Textures series, one sunny day in a beautiful garden-scape in Bali.

Animatronix is a Sonic Wizard, exploring the self through sound, trying to make sense of the world and our place in it by spending most of his time tinkering in the studio to produce something that may have a positive effect on others. 
The project is a story of striving for balance, harnessing the depths of spirit through undertones of tribal bass, and the beautiful aspects of existence through emotive melody. 
These polarities exist in harmony through the journey of the music, as it offers a reflection of how these dualistic qualities in ourselves do not have to be opposing, but can form a synergy.
