A Deakin University student with a bachelors in biomedical science who is currently undertaking post-graduate studies in professional accounting - I  know... they're both so different. 'Diversify' is my motto and this translates  to my taste in music. I am open to all genres but favour Jazz, The Blues and some electronic subtypes such as deep house, glitch, psytrance. Other genres that I really enjoy are Drum & Bass (liquid and dirty), Soul and Bluetech.

I appreciate artists who mix different genres of music bringing out the best of both. Two artists that come to  mind are GriZ, Cheshire and Terrafractyl (specifically his album Imaginings and Fabrications).

Active from 2009 - 2015, Virtual Proximity was a project of saxophonist, electronic musician and producer James Annesley. Based in Melbourne, Australia, the project  incorporated elements of jazz, ambient, triphop and experimental electronica. 

The live edition of Virtual Proximity included Tristan Courtney on Bass and drum programming (he also featured on many of the productions), with VJ Robert Jarvis providing a psychedelic visual backdrop. Playing heavily improvised sets, the group played small shows around Melbourne, with occasional appearances in other parts of Australia and Europe.
