The Eulogy is more than a remix project — it’s a sonic resurrection. The EP pairs legendary verses from hip-hop’s most revered voices — including 2Pac and other fallen rap icons — with cinematic, custom-crafted beats from Anion Music. The goal: to honor their legacies through fresh sound while preserving their original spirit and message.

Connecticut-based producer-engineer Christopher Ruiz, a.k.a. Champaigne Supernova, a.k.a. Moonroof Morocco, is the real thing-a multi-talented producer, songwriter, audio engineer and performer with a sound all his own and serious “star” potential. An independent music producer of the self made variety, Ruiz has the rare ability to effectively write, perform and self-produce music for multiple artists, with a fresh new sound, that distinguishes him from the vast sea of talented producer-rapper-engineers proliferating today. A producer at heart, Ruiz effortlessly delivers a witty, honest “you get what u see” approach – exemplifying the often used, but rarely seen phrase, “he is most comfortable behind the boards”. 

Champaigne Supernova aka (Moonroof Morocco) is a maverick in today’s music world.  It's not just a wealth of musical styles or his smooth and expressive voice that have made Moonroof such a fine artist. His songs, which range from thoughtful to silly to poetic, show that he knows his way around the English language and music culture just as well as he knows his way around the recording studio.
