ANISE is the solo name for electronic vocalist /producer. Carly’s sound is a blend of deep, atmospheric downbeat, mournful vocals, sorrowful strings, and sub bass with the distinct influences of Massive Attack, Portishead, and a touch of Everything But the Girl.

Her release of new single “All I Want” coincides with the Lady Electronica LIVE 2012 (Judith Wright Centre – NOV (9 & 10). This will be Carly’s first appearance under the new moniker ANISE, which follows her 2012 QMA nominated release “Still Life”.

All I Want” is a unique blend of deep, atmospheric, progressive breaks with the distinct influences of Massive Attack, Hybrid, Everything But the Girl and features dance floor remixes by TEH, SHOLA, INCREMENTALIST and  BON VIOR.

Carly is one of the founding members of the Lady Electronica collective who are undertaking collaborations and mentoring from Wally DeBacker (Gotye – ARIA Award Winner), Quan Yeomans (Regurgitator – ARIA Award Winner), and Scott Horscroft (ARIA award winner – producer Presets, Sleepy Jacksons, Silver Chair).:OVE
