Ephemeral Distance was started in 2020 as an alternative way of approaching others and understanding oneself. Techno music is seen as a means of communication, a way to travel into space-time, and a starting point for an evolution process.

Having discovered Techno at the age of 9, Kranos embarked on a deep exploration of electronic dance music, focusing on  genres like Hardcore, Trance, Drum & Bass and Trip Hop. In 2007, he began DJing Drum & Bass, dedicating nine years to performing with a collective for large audiences, an experience that profoundly shaped his musical passion.

In 2016, inspired by Basel’s nightlife and club culture, he shifted his focus to ambient, deep and hypnotic techno, marking the start of a new musical journey defined by introspection and innovation. Since then, Kranos has pursued hypnotic, blissful experiences, making them central to his artistry while continuously refining his sound to create deep connections with his listeners.

Francesco Belfiore, DJ, live performer, e producer di musica elettronica, è specializzato in techno modulare e ha recentemente pubblicato un EP su SEMANTICA Records, la famosa etichetta dell'artista techno Svreca.

Cresciuto con le influenze di Depeche Mode e Kraftwerk, Francesco si innamora della techno nel 2004. DJ e producer originario di Roma, ha pubblicato musica per l'etichetta italiana Concrete Records ed è il fondatore delle label Truth or Consequences e SAVE THE BLESSED, quest'ultima nota per le pubblicazioni di artisti come San Proper e The Analogue Cops.

Le sue preferenze in ambito elettronico si sono evolute verso i suoni di DJ e producer come Alva Noto, Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Mark Ernestus e Moritz Von Oswald (Basic Channel), e Carl Craig. La sua musica si distingue per un sound minimale e ipnotico, caratterizzato da ritmi intricati e texture sonore complesse, che riflettono le influenze della scuola berlinese e del dub techno.

Oltre alla sua carriera musicale, Francesco è anche un cyberpsicologo specializzato in intelligenza artificiale e nuove tecnologie. La sua doppia competenza gli permette di esplorare e integrare le connessioni tra musica elettronica e innovazioni tecnologiche in modo unico e creativo.

Come DJ, Francesco coinvolge gli ascoltatori immergendoli in paesaggi sonori mistici e multidimensionali, creando un'esperienza sonora carica di paranoia e suggestioni ipnotiche. Le sue performance sono un viaggio attraverso ritmi pulsanti e atmosfere oscure, capaci di trasportare il pubblico in uno stato di trance collettiva, rendendo ogni set un'esperienza unica e indimenticabile.
