Here’s the first single from my new album “unlearn” it’s called Be together. 
It features a snippet of spoken word from Ram Dass…
As someone who can look at the world as an outsider looking in, I see too much separation. Amplified by recent worldwide events 
As much as this attempt to create division by the media, politicians corporations ect has worked I see that it has also brought people together in ways we couldn’t even have imagined before. Love conquers fear every time.
I’ve recently been inspired by people I would never have even heard of before. Charles Eisenstein, Aubrey Marcus, Zach Bush to name a few.
These guys have shown me there is a different path from the one of separation that seems to be currently falling apart before our eyes.
 I for one am tired of being scared looking at some dystopian future and choose to see this as an opportunity to wake the fuck up before it’s too late!
Anyway I hope you enjoy this release, I’m sorry for going off on a tangent but I think it’s important to talk about these things in a non confrontational way.

“Be Together” is the first single off of 2econd Class Citizen’s album “unlearn”. It is available digitally as well as a limited vinyl postcard in collaboration with Postmanslove.

A few more notes about the upcoming album: 
Unlearn is the long awaited fourth album of DJ and producer 2econd Class Citizen. It marks the artist’s return back to the newly relaunched label Equinox Records. Their previous collaborations achieved high acclaim for their genre bending fusion of hip hop, electronica and folk to form a cinematic journey which is full of twists and turns.

Unlearn is an exploration of an artist journeying beyond their conventional confines. It is a musical adventure peppered with vintage samples concerning the perception of reality and our struggles with conforming to a broken society.

Ink Project’s collaboration with Bristol-based/Trinidadian-born singer/songwriter/producer Coreysan continues, with the duo’s third single from 2021’s ‘Rhythm Spirit’ album, select summer 2021 and 2022 festivals, tour support slots with the legendary Red Snapper, plus regular radio airplay from the likes of Don Letts on BBC 6 Music, Dan Hegarty on RTE in Ireland, NTS Radio and many more. 

‘New Phase feat. Coreysan’ deals with the lyrical subjects of shedding skin, embracing change and living life to the full, alongside a spacious musical back-drop of hypnotic, sci-fi, ambient dub rhythms, textures and samples, drawing inspiration from the likes of Rhythm & Sound, Another Channel and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, to name but a few. 

The release also comes complete with a variety of heavyweight remixes from psychedelic/ambient don DF Tram (Liquid Sound Design), dubby electro/house dancefloor versions from Thievary Corporation’s side project ETHNO and Delonte Rivers (XVI Records/Love Above Records/Banana Hill), before climaxing with Kaya Project’s uplifting and inimitable world fusion version, complete with lush and soothing acoustic guitars, strings, vocals and more.  

All album remixes are currently being offered for FREE download with every vinyl purchase of ‘Rhythm Spirit’ (now on its second re-press) bought by Blind Colour’s Bandcamp page.
