بر در شهر آمد آخر کاروان ما زه راه دور -می گوید-
با لقای کاروان ما، (چنان کآرایش پاکیزه‌اش هر لحظه می‌آراست).
مردمان شهر را فریاد برمی‌خاست
آن‌که او این قصه‌اش در گوش، اما
خاسته افسرده‌وار از جا
شهر را نام و نشان هر لحظه می‌جوید.
و به او افسرده می‌گوید:
مثل این که سال‌ها بودم در آن شهر نهان مأوا»
مثل این‌که یک زمان در کوچه‌یی از کوچه‌های او
