A little introduction from "Eddie" 

I used to go to Gatecrasher at The Republic in Sheffield and this is where my love for trance started. This mix is highly inspired from the resident DJ’s at Gatecrasher Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick and Judge Jules and a few of my favourite tracks which Paul Oakenfold used to hammer during his sets all over the World.

On May 16th I’m releasing ‘Frostline’, an EP about the transition of the winter’s stillness to the first signs of spring.

I produced these tracks at the beginning of the year, and I’m very happy they’re finally seeing the light.

"Trance Classics" is a brand which has been growing from strength to strength over the past 3 years. The significant time and effort spent by Darren Simpson and Mark Winstanley who have researched and educated the Trance scene on so many different releases has earned them a loyal following. It's a real pleasure to headline their 10,000 Likes celebration along with so many other Trance luminaries.   

What is a classic? Well, a textbook definition is "an outstanding example of a particular style, something of lasting worth or with timeless quality". However, I'm sure that everyone has their own opinion of what constitutes a proper classic. It could be some of the biggest Trance anthems to have ever graced the dancefloor, those hidden gems which haven't been heard in countless years or discovering that oldskool treasure which you never knew existed!

Anyone who knows my thoughts on "classics", will know that firstly, I find the term slightly overused and secondly, I rarely if ever create exclusive mixes focused entirely on oldskool Trance. This set addresses all of that.

Welcome to my page which is dedicated to all things trance! 

I’ve been DJing off and on since I got my first pair of Gemini belt drive decks way back in ‘99, which some people refer to as the “year of trance”.  My love for trance started when I first heard PvD - For an Angel and have been hooked ever since. 

I mainly DJ’d in the 00s at a few bars and clubs in Leicester, but never went any further than that. Then life took over and I gave it all up for about 10 years or so, selling all my DJ equipment in the process.  It was only in lockdown that I started it up again as was so bored, and I got back my love of trance and have been mixing ever since. 

I love most types of trance so wanted to create this page to share my mixes which are made up of my favourite tunes from over the years. 

Really hope you enjoy them.
