Unified-2024-Competition-Mix-Podders

Vinyl Destination Presents the second , vinyl only volume of original productions, collaborations, co-productions (Yves Deruyter) and remixes from Mike Dierickx aka M.I.K.E. Push. Born in Antwerp, Belgium but now a resident of New York City, M.I.K.E. is without a doubt one of the greatest Trance producers of all time. His productions under a plethora of different pseudonyms and aliases are instantly recognisable. Arguably his most famous track, Universal Nation has been awarded gold status in Belgium for selling 25,000 and 100million streams.

Volume 1 of my M.I.K.E. Push showcase can be found in my "Artist Showcases" play list. That mix features all of the classic Push tunes and some of his more familiar remixes. Volume 2 (this mix) therefore naturally explores somre of his lesser known tracks and remixes and a few more of his earlier productions. I've tried to keep a flow to it as I do with all my mixes ending with some of darker more pounding tunes.

It's not a perfect mix but it is vinyl only and I'm very happy with it and how it compliments volume 1.

I hope anybody who gives it a listen enjoys it.

It was my first time DJing for such an extended set, and every track flowed seamlessly, keeping the energy high and the vibes perfect. It was not just about playing great tunes - it was about creating the experience!😃 A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support REBOOTED and me - we have come a long way since launching in Sheffield in April 2023! Building this loyal, passionate community has been incredible and seeing how much you enjoyed the music made the event truly unforgettable. Can’t wait for more to come as we continue to grow and bring you the sounds you love!

Welcome to my page which is dedicated to all things trance! 

I’ve been DJing off and on since I got my first pair of Gemini belt drive decks way back in ‘99, which some people refer to as the “year of trance”.  My love for trance started when I first heard PvD - For an Angel and have been hooked ever since. 

I mainly DJ’d in the 00s at a few bars and clubs in Leicester, but never went any further than that. Then life took over and I gave it all up for about 10 years or so, selling all my DJ equipment in the process.  It was only in lockdown that I started it up again as was so bored, and I got back my love of trance and have been mixing ever since. 

I love most types of trance so wanted to create this page to share my mixes which are made up of my favourite tunes from over the years.
