Ever since 1999, Steve Helstrip has been one of the most prominent and successful trance producers the UK has ever seen. Under his own aliases ‘The Thrillseekers’, ‘En-Motion’ and ‘Hydra’ and also his collaborations with Andy Perring (Insigma), Tim Stark (Rapid Eye) and Paul Mendez (Morpheus), he has released some of the most memorable and loved tunes we have ever heard.

I am proud to present to you ‘Legend’, a 2 hour tribute mix from the classic trance era dedicated solely to Steve’s own productions, collaborations and remixes.

Well Summer is here again, and before I go away for my holiday, I wanted to post Gatecrasher Experiences Episode 10. In this episode I asked Lewis Mann to be the next in line to drop a mix for the series, which he kindly accepted. With a late mix full of Trancers and Bangers, belting out at 140 BPM all the way, Lewis has provided the first Vinyl mix of the series, starting out with ‘Massive’ and ending with the Crazy & Banging Bangkok. Welcome to my page which is dedicated to all things trance! 

I’ve been DJing off and on since I got my first pair of Gemini belt drive decks way back in ‘99, which some people refer to as the “year of trance”.  My love for trance started when I first heard PvD - For an Angel and have been hooked ever since. 

I mainly DJ’d in the 00s at a few bars and clubs in Leicester, but never went any further than that. Then life took over and I gave it all up for about 10 years or so, selling all my DJ equipment in the process.  It was only in lockdown that I started it up again as was so bored, and I got back my love of trance and have been mixing ever since. 

I love most types of trance so wanted to create this page to share my mixes which are made up of my favourite tunes from over the years.
