DT8 Project’s ‘Where We Go From Here’ trilogy concludes with the final EP in the series, out now on Anjunabeats.

DT8 Project is an alias of legendary producer, composer and DJ, Darren Tate. A classically trained musician, Darren has been composing club music since the early 00’s. He’s the founder of Mondo Records, and has collaborated with Boy George and Jono Grant from Above & Beyond. Discerning clubbers of a certain age will undoubtedly have fond memories of tracks like ‘It’s My Turn’ (as Angelic) and ‘The Theme’ (as Jurgen Vries).

The latest ‘Where We Go From Here’ EP includes a chill out mix of ‘Crystallize’ from K-MRK & Harry Diamond, alongside three new DT8 Project originals.

“I Think Of You” has all the right ingredients to become a new summer anthem for him. It’s a good thing with the world that no matter where we are, there is a summer season and Richard Bass is there to definitely seek it up. With warm melodies, packed with all that feel good vibes, Soothing bass lines and chord progressions that are evolving throughout the track, he surely strikes and he does it in his own style. 

As for “My Ways”, we are getting the vibe and tempo up a bit as this is a bit more energetic in style. With melodies and chord progression evolving all over, he surely is to take us places with this rocking beauty. It’s just another one of “THOSE” from him and we can’t do much more than to lift our hats, he’s done it again and we are of course proud and honoured to see him team up with us once more.
