Following in the footsteps of Anjuna superstars Mat Zo, ARTY, ilan Bluestone and Grum, the tenth instalment in the legendary Anjunabeats Worldwide compilation series leads you to the darkest of dance floors; an underground techno and trance trip courtesy of US-based duo Fatum.

Ubiquitous on Anjuna over the last decade in various guises, Bruce Karlsson and Daniel Davis have been responsible for an abundance of catalogue classics.

Bruce was an architect of the electro-tinged grooves that made Norin & Rad a tour-de-force throughout the early 2010s with the likes of ‘Bloom’, ‘Pistol Whip’ and ‘Thundercat’. Dan, crate-digger and intricate melody maker as Judah (w/ Chris Nelson), responsible for the likes of ‘Boss Fight’, ‘Nomad’ and ‘Zero-Day’.
Always found at their best together, Fatum launched as a quartet in 2015 alongside Chad Newbold and the sorely missed Bill Hamel. Boisterous floor fillers ’Chocolate, ‘Love On A Real Train’ (Tangerine Dream Cover) and ‘All In’ followed, the latter reworked by Above & Beyond in May 2020.

Anjunabeats Worldwide 10 is a 21 track journey championing the past, present and future sound of the label. There are five original productions from Fatum themselves, including collaborations with Jaytech, Mars Atlas, LYCA and re:boot. Mainstays of the Anjunabeats family Mat Zo, Genix, Grum, ALPHA 9 and Sunny Lax are present, while Anjunabeats Rising graduates Naz and Alex Sonata & TheRio have their first outing on a label compilation.

Fatum also bring cult favourites back to the dance floor, reworking Andy Moor and Adam White’s ‘Whiteroom’ and Above & Beyond’s ‘Alone Tonight’ - the sought-after Alexandra Palace remix which first aired nearly a decade ago.

One of two Oliver Smith productions featured on Anjunabeats Volume 16, 'Make Me Feel' is a rapturous club cut from one of the label's best-loved names. It was met with the roaring support of 22,000 people in Oli's set at Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge, and has been extensively road-tested by Oli across his busy summer of touring.

An established figure in the world of progressive house and trance, our Anjunafamily will remember Serbian producer Marko Cubric, aka Vintage & Morelli, from 2015’s ‘Contrasts’. A standout moment from Anjunabeats Volume 12, ‘Contrasts’ became a classic addition to our catalogue, and received a spin by Above & Beyond in their four-hour Group Therapy 400 livestream back in September 2020.

Seven years later and Marko is back, with ‘Crossroads / Terra Nuova’ - the latter track being a collaboration with label debutant Anthony Nikita. 

“Marko Cubric’s contribution to Volume 12, ‘Contrasts,’ remains a stand out from that mix. A couple of artist albums later and he’s back in the Anjunafamily, with a typically groovy number. ‘Crossroads’ is his most techno-infused outing to date, and one we’re looking forward to spinning on the road.” - Above & Beyond

Work on ‘Terra Nuova’ began in 2019, as Marko and Anthony explain: "We were driving around NYC in Anthony's car as he played the demo he was working on. I heard the vocal riff and the beautiful piano chords and instantly got an idea of what the track should sound like… sadly, I had to put the track on the backburner as I was working on my third artist album and got busy with other projects. Fast forward two years: I sat down, wrote the track, and ‘Voila’, we got Terra Nuova, which is this gorgeous, emotional dancefloor killer.” - Marko

Andrew Bayer releases double A-side 'What Is Real (with Vök) / If You Loop It, They Will Come', lifted from part two of his double album 'Duality'.

A two-part album project, ‘Duality’ began as a homage to Andrew's debut album, 'It's Artificial'. Crafted over three years, ‘Duality pt. 1' explores Bayer’s passion for downtempo and indie-pop, while ‘Duality pt. 2' takes on his forward-thinking trance and progressive sound.

‘Duality pt. 1' was released on August 12 via Anjunabeats. Met with acclaim from fans and supported by Sirius XM's Diplo and Liquid Todd, it featured collaborations with OLAN, Run Rivers, Asbjørn, MOR, Dave Thomas Junior and more.

On ‘Duality pt. 2’, Andrew takes the energy and BPM up a gear with ten tracks of cutting-edge club sounds - avant-garde sensibilities, aimed straight at the dancefloor.

"'What Is Real' and 'If You Loop It, They Will Come' highlight an important pairing of my club sound. 'What Is Real' tells the story of struggling with treating depression, and the side effects it brings. 'If You Loop It, They Will Come' is the response to being stuck in the eternal loop of knowing what is real and what isn’t. It snaps us back into a focused reality with a chorus of analog synths from the 70’s and 80’s, with a faint vocal sample repeating “it’s gonna be the same”. Accepting the fact that I always have and always will struggle with mental health issues was a big part of the acceptance I had to face while working on 'Duality'. French producer David Ciekanski (aka Matt Fax) has been releasing music since the age of 15. In 2013, he provided a timeless remix of Jaytech’s ‘Labour Of Love’ and landed his first Guest Mix on Group Therapy. Since then, David has gone from strength to strength on labels such as Enhanced, Colorize, AVA Recordings and This Never Happened.

He's had a busy 2022: just this year, he's released his third artist album 'X', mixed the fourth edition of Colorize's 'Colorscapes' compilation series alongside PRAANA and Estiva, and remixed Kasablanca's 'Synthetic Blues'. His last Anjunabeats release, ‘Remind Me Why’ with Amy Wiles and Mirror Machines, is a mainstay on Spotify’s Trance Mission playlist and has since racked up over 594K streams.

Above & Beyond close out the year with a long-awaited remix of ‘Chains’ from one of Anjunabeats' earliest signings, Maor Levi. 

'Chains' was Above & Beyond's second single of 2022 with singer Marty Longstaff, following the release of jubilant vocal ballad 'Gratitude'. Maor Levi’s remix first started appearing in Above & Beyond’s live sets last year, and has remained a staple in the band’s sets throughout the past year, including their sold out Group Therapy 500 celebrations at Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles, as well as Tomorrowland and EDC Orlando.

Maor has been a semi-regular contributor to Anjunabeats since 2006, and in that time he has helped to define the modern sound of the label. Maor first signed to Anjunadeep at the age of 15 with 'Lital', before jumping across to Anjunabeats. He's since produced a continuous stream of club hits for the label including classics like ‘Reflect’, ‘Shapes’ and ‘Won’t Say No’.

Also performing as The Lake Poets, Marty Longstaff rose to prominence with the moving acoustic ballad ‘Shipyards’. The song accompanies the opening credits to the sleeper hit Netflix documentary, ’Sunderland ’Till I Die’. The Sunderland born singer-songwriter is also the voice of Above & Beyond's 'Tightrope', 'Flying By Candlelight’ and 'Gratitude'.
