A bright and positive presence on our Anjunafamily for over a decade, Hungary’s Sunny Lax has shown a flair for effortlessly catchy melodies and uplifting chord progressions that have seen his music take flight on some of the biggest stages worldwide. 

Looking to broaden his sound further, this May sees the release of his first extended body of work, the ‘End Of Our Time EP’, 5 tracks celebrating the sound of Sunny Lax. 

Honed on the road during his recent run on Jason Ross’ ‘1000 Faces’ tour’, ‘Mother’ is the first, typically euphoric, single to emerge from the EP.

"The relationship between mother and child is one of the deepest and most beautiful connections humans can have. This true, unconditional love is so powerful, it defines our whole life. As the mother gives birth and raises a child is similar to our mother nature, as it gave life to all of the species on this planet. And this connection or love should be mutual, but we tend to forget about it. We forget that we're all children of the same mother here, we forget that we're all brothers and sisters. And this brings disharmony into our lives. But we can always change, we just need to realise and understand the importance of these powerful connections before it's not too late. Penned before world events took a turn for the worse, the five-track ‘End Of Our Time’ EP celebrates all aspects of the Sunny Lax sound in 2020. Opening with the tranquil ‘If I Knew It Was The Last Time’, Sunny then serves up a salvo of club monsters in ‘Close To Me’, ‘Angels With Filthy Souls’ and ‘Mother’. The journey concludes on the Porter Robinson-esque ’Stay’, featuring EL Waves.

I truly believe this is the end of our time as we knew before, and we're at the beginning of something new and better.
