Kicking off the EP is a remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Surge’ from Russian producers PROFF and Igor Garanin. First debuted during Above & Beyond’s ABGT500 Deep Set, PROFF and Igor Garanin add an organic house spin to the original, leading with an array of percussion and intricate countermelodies.

James Grant and Jody Wisternoff collaborate with British producer LEGATO on ‘Petals’. With releases on All Day I Dream, Eton Messy, When We Dip and Nightcolours, LEGATO demonstrates his distinctive style in his latest collaboration.

Duke Boara returns to Anjunadeep with ‘Woodwick Close’. Having first debuted on Anjunadeep 12, Duke Boara has since gone on to release his debut album ‘11am’ which has gained over 8 million streams and support on BBC Radio 1.

Anjunadeep welcomes Natascha Polké back to the label with a James Grant & Jody Wisternoff edit of ‘Loose Lips’. Natascha debuted on the label in 2022 with ‘Cranes’, a collaboration with Nils Hoffmann, and has had further releases on This Never Happened, Hive Music and Definition:Music. Leading with Natascha’s enchanting vocals, James and Jody stamp their mark with signature percussive-led rhythms and warm chords.

‘Freefly’ is the second collaborative cut on the EP, with Ukrainian producer Nōpi, Jody Wisternoff & James Grant. Nōpi first debuted on Anjunadeep in 2020 and has since gone on to release his outstanding four-track EP ‘Gray Cloud’ on the label.

Rounding off the EP is a Jody Wisternoff & James Grant remix of LAR ‘Collide’. Hailing from the UK, LAR debuted in 2021 with his release on Monstercat Silk and has since gone on to release on Colorize, Eton Messy and Zerothree.

Bar 25 Music is proud to present “The Tiny House of Delusion (REMIXES)” — a two track EP with reworks of songs from the album by Frivolous. The first long play by the legendary artist in 10 years is logically followed by a next chapter giving another go and parallel live to those tracks. Work number one is “Daughters”, remixed by Oliver Schories. Oliver is a producer and DJ specialising in melodic techno or deep house but favours creating dance music that defies the dancefloor. He is also the owner of his own label “Pracht”, which is another prism through which Schories broadcasts music to the world.

Another piece, “Our Loving Sorrow”, was reworked by Aaron Hedges. “I wanted to keep the original sampled vocal vibes, as I studied the history of jazz myself’ — Aaron says. “I rewrote new spacially wide bass, Jupiter 8 synth lead, and electronic and organic percussion parts. Additional joy was injected by micro sampling of gospel sounds myself and custom-designed, dub-inspired FX. So this remix now loving encapsulates influences from many genres and eras”.

Raffa aka 19:26 teamed up with Animal Picnic for a collaboration that caught our attention right away. This might be the track we play the longest of the whole package. It has a trancy touch but just enough to not cross over.

Northern Irish producer GVN releases ‘So In Love’.

In 2021 GVN, aka Gavin Brown, dropped his Anjunabeats debut ‘I Don’t’ as a serious statement of intent. First introduced to the label by anamē’s Marcus Schössow, the two would go on to collaborate on the 700th Anjunabeats release, ‘Take Me There’, which earned spins from Lane 8, Kryder, Anja Schneider, Armin van Buuren, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Tibasko and many more.

The Derry-native showed no signs of slowing down in the years that followed, serving up remixes for the likes of Lange and Chakra and attracting support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Danny Howard. 

GVN kicked off this year with his dynamic double-header ‘Thinking About You / Believer’, which earned early support from BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar and on BBC Music Introducing in Sussex & Surrey.

Expect more new music from GVN in the coming months. ‘So In Love’ is out now on Anjunabeats.
