Hailing from Brussels, Jetlag make their Anjunadeep debut with "Walk With Me", featuring sultry vocals from Esther. Comprised of producers Renato Marquez and Miguel Fernandez, the duo combine deep, progressive sounds with an alternative pop sensibility.

An instant favourite at Anjuna HQ, "Walk With Me" is a soft, absorbing track built around a stripped-back groove that allows the beautiful vocals of Esther to come to the fore, accompanied by Renato's delicate violin.

On remix duties we are pleased to welcome back two familiar names in Martin Roth and Celsius. Martin's remix takes the melodic elements of the original and strips them back even further, building slowly through a vocal-led intro into a mystic breakdown before the huge bass groove takes over. 

Celsius follows up a killer EP on MadTech with this remix, a garage infused roller, full of warm bassline melodies, sharp string blasts, and pitched vocals, that all make way for the punchy low-end.

After ending their four year hiatus from the label with the fantastic "Beat Organ EP" earlier this summer, 16 Bit Lolitas aka Ariaan Olieroock and Peter Kriek are back with another huge three track EP.

Title track "Deep In My Soul", was an instant office favourite, and picked up it's first play live on BBC Radio 1 from none other than Pete Tong during his Essential Mix with Sasha at Privilege in Ibiza. Fusing their trademark melodic grooves with an infectious vocal loop, Ariaan and Peter deliver a real anthem - one as equally potent poolside as it is in the main room, as Tong and Sasha can testify.

Equally memorable second track "Premium Emo" takes a more leftfield approach, built around gliding guitars and soaring vocals over a breakbeat groove. First heard in their ABGT guest mix earlier this year, "Premium Emo" is yet another 16BL classic.

"Higher State" rounds off the EP in style, showcasing the deeper end of Ariaan and Peter's musical spectrum. Soulful, jazzy melodies make way for rolling low end grooves and energetic synths in an another complex gem.

16 Bit Lolitas - Deep In My Soul

The Fat! Club EP 001 is the first in a new series of free mini-compilations showcasing tracks from some of the UK’s most exciting underground producers. 

Established in 1997, The Fat! Club encompasses a record label, blog, club night and management agency. This long running commitment to UK underground music has seen Chew The Fat! host arenas at festivals across the UK and Europe, monthly parties around the globe, and five consecutive summer residencies at We Love…Space Ibiza.

Now more than ever the UK underground scene is overflowing with creative minds and upfront beats, and The Fat! Club is as passionate as ever about new talent. 

This first instalment features music from Pále, who after releasing on Fat! Records and Four40 in 2012 was named one of XLR8R’s ones to watch for 2013, along with fellow Fat! cohort Wolf Cub. As one third of Transmission Collective Wolf Cub is set for a big year as their label, Transmission Audio Recordings, continues to go from strength to strength. Newcastle based Moe has been bubbling up for a while now, with forthcoming music dropping on MadTech. London based duo DE$iGNATED are already forging out a signature sound, and with some wicked collaborations in the pipeline are set for big things. Rounding off the EP are Origins Sound, a collective of DJs and producers from Bath, who’ve been causing a stir with their parties at The Porters.

Swift and smoothly, the sounds of ‘Chant A Tune’ rush in. Remixed by Swedish talent and Prydz protégé Jeremy Olander, its rapturous melody will get you, again and again. Sparkling, deep and absolutely warming. 

Los Angeles based producer DAVI is no stranger to the 16 Bit Lolitas sound.
