French-Canadian producer and live act Christophe Dubé, aka CRi, is a dance music star in the making. 2020 saw the release of his acclaimed debut LP ‘Juvenile’, which won resounding praise from Clash, NME and DJ Mag, and has racked up over seven million streams to date. Following A-list remixes from Gerd Janson, DJ BORING, Jean-Michel Blais and Icarus, CRi now shares the complete ‘Juvenile (Remixed)’ LP, with fresh offerings from Studio Barnhus label boss Kornél Kovács, Chinese composer and DJ, Yu Su, US producer Byron The Aquarius, newcomer Kotastu and a new rework from CRi himself.

With remixes for Pet Shop Boys, George Fitzgerald and HONNE in his repertoire, legendary Swedish producer Kornél Kovács makes his debut appearance on the label, working his magic on standout LP single ‘Runaway’. With highly-regarded originals on Ninja Tune's Technicolour and a critically-acclaimed debut LP 'Yellow River Blue' under her belt, Kaifeng-born, Vancouver-based producer Yu Su joins the label. Her leftfield, dream-like rework of 'Love Spirit' feat. Sophia Bel comes after a career-affirming few years, and plaudits from Pitchfork and Resident Advisor.

Alabama-based deep house aficionado Byron The Aquarius follows on from remixes for electronic favourites Session Victim and Folamour, providing our second new take on ‘Runaway’. Completing the package, CRi shares his own club revision of LP hit ‘From Me’ feat. Bernache, before rounding off with exciting newcomer, British producer Kotatsu, who offers up an emotionally-charged remix of fan favourite ‘Never Really Get There’ feat. Jesse Mac Cormack.

Black Roses Seventeenth EP comes from Italian duo MAAND. The guys from Naples provided three great tracks with a very romantic and melancholic feeling but at the same time full of energy at the right spot. "Anorher Day Without You" it's a journey with atmospheric pads and deep vocals, a perfect dream scenario. In "Faithless" we have the same dream scenario and atmospheric pads but in a more energetic way enhanced by the groove and bassline. The last one "Introspective" as the title suggests is a journey to discover ourselves, the leads and pads will bring you into a meditation phase till your be released with the explosive drop in the main break.

UK techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick gears up for the release of his first album in over a decade, 'Machine Therapy’, out November 12 on Anjunadeep.

Earlier this year, We Are The Brave label boss Alan Fitzpatrick debuted on leading dance imprint Anjunadeep with 'Warning Signs’. An emotive collaboration with Lawrence Hart, the track saw Fitzpatrick deviate from his typical techno sound, drawing influence from electronica, breakbeat, and dub. Championed by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Danny Howard, and remixed by CamelPhat, the track was the first piece of music from Alan’s forthcoming LP. 

Followed by album singles ‘W.A.I.S.T.D.’ with Bloc Party frontman Kele, and ‘Bourgeois Imagery’ with drum & bass legend High Contrast, the fourth single to drop from the new album is ‘A Call Out for Love’ feat. LOWES. A brooding melodic house track, ‘A Call Out For Love’ weaves a sweeping arpeggiator with the soaring vocals of the Manchester band’s lead vocalist, Evie Plumb. “Evie’s voice sits perfectly with the sound, and it really has made this track into something very special” says Alan. LOWES come off the back of a string of high profile collaborations with some of dance music’s biggest names, including Sub Focus and Franky Wah, which have made it onto BBC Radio 1’s A-List. Their sound walks the line between underground electronic music and emotional pop.

‘Machine Therapy’ sees Alan piece together fragments of techno, breaks, house and ambient to create a glorious window into the inner workings of one of electronic music’s most exciting, established talents. And this collaboration is no exception.

Part of our newly conscripted roster, Weska has been shaping his thick, punchy, highly polished sound from way up in Toronto, as resident at the sound Mind crews parties, he has formulated a particularly sharp ended production style that runs deep through these hypnotic tracks. We drafted in a very specific remixer for this EP, Joran Van Pol has created some of the most stripped down and stark slabs of dance of music this last year on labels like Minus and Rejected, and here he has moulded the title track into a slow motion, low slung masterpiece.

Croquet Club - Careless Love

Techno two-piece Slam (Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle) bring the new double vinyl album Machine Cut Noise to the forefront next month Stuart and Orde's day-to-day proceedings consist of maximum time spent on the road, in airports and hotels; which also forms the creative hub for their music-making. It's this transitory state that largely dominates the vibe on Machine Cut Noise.

With each of the album's eleven tracks handed its own unique energy, this concept is probably depicted most prevalently in "Psalm". There is a deep emotional core found within this programmed 7.5-minute piece. It conjures a direction that 'has been paved by the machines which surround us'. A technophile's voyage into the unknown we strongly recommend getting on board with.

French-Canadian producer and live act Christophe Dubé, aka CRi, is a star in the making, rising through Montréal’s thriving music scene in recent years, and hailed by the likes of Vice, i-D and NME.

With his 2020 debut album ‘Juvenile’ racking up over 6 million streams to date, and LP remixes from legendary producer Gerd Janson and UK duo Icarus under his belt, CRi now welcomes a statement rework of ‘Stranger’ from one of the pioneers of the lo-fi house scene, London-based producer DJ BORING.

German duo Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich, aka Monkey Safari, return to Anjunadeep with their three track EP ‘Beach’. Following their debut Anjunadeep release ‘Gravity / Daka’, which saw support from Joris Voorn, Hernan Cattaneo, Kölsch and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, the duo’s latest reaffirms their impressive reputation.

Title track ‘Beach’ opens the EP, leading with breakbeat drums and evolving chords. ‘Free’ features a catchy vocal hook whilst ‘Can’t Sleep’ favours ambient synths and an emotive melody. The duo’s unique take on deep, melodic house has seen them release on Spectrum, Get Physical, RCA records and their own imprint Hommage.

Japanese artist Yunosuke Senoo, aka Lycoriscoris, returns to Anjunadeep with the announcement of his upcoming album 'Chiyu', out March 26. 

In recent years, Senoo has built a cult following as part of a new wave of Japanese producers. His signature blend of organic melodies with intricate sound design have won him support from the likes of DJ Koze, Michael Mayer, &ME and BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart. A multi-instrumentalist, Senoo has played live alongside the likes of The Field and Moritz Von Oswald at Tokyo’s legendary Dommune. 

Composed throughout 2020, 'Chiyu' documents Senoo’s journey of reflection and recovery.  

“Memories and retrospection are the fundamental concept that inspire my music. For instance, my own artist name plays on the name of the Lycoris flower. In Japan, it's often found near cemeteries, which is of course a dark connotation - however one day when searching in the Language of Flowers (Floriography) I discovered that the word Lycoris also means “I’m looking forward to seeing you again”. 

I realised how this dark flower also hides a beautiful and positive message. I think my music, and my new album ‘Chiyu’, has the same kind of dualism as the Lycoris flower.”

With influences ranging from Boards of Canada and Christian Löffler, Senoo showcases his delicate production style over the 9 tracks of ‘Chiyu’. From the intertwining melodies in ‘Shizumu’ to the polyrhythmic textures of ‘Utsurou', Seeno combines dreamy soundscapes with modern electronica. A skilled photographer, Senoo also provides the imagery for the album artwork shot in his native, Japan.

Senoo’s new album follows the release of his acclaimed LP ‘Flight’, released on Anjunadeep in 2018. Positioning in the top 5 Electronic albums on iTunes, 'Flight' gained support on tastemaker stations including BBC Radio 1, KEXP and NTS Radio as well as international press support.

‘Chiyu’ is available March 26 on Anjunadeep.
