House music enthusiast and native New Yorker, DeBease now splits time between Venice Beach, CA and Brooklyn where his love of electronic music began on the dance floor's of Verboten, Output & Good Room. Quickly expanding his taste to a wide variety of sub genres, DeBease draws from a range of sounds spanning from minimal, soulful house & disco to melodic deep house with hints of progressive & tribal. His sets take listeners on an auditory journey, connecting thoughts seamlessly into stories which curate a deep energy and emotion across the dance floor.

2019 was a breakout year for DeBease as he made his international debut in London with the folks over at Bon Appetit Records in January and then followed it up with a debut performance at the infamous Le Bain in NYC and frequenting local Brooklyn staples such as TBA in Williamsburg.

2021 brought a return to NYC nightlife as DeBease held residencies at Manhattan hot spots Make Believe & Mr. Purple as well as frequenting the Water Tower at the Wiliamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn. 

Notable highlights from 2022 came from sharing the stage with David Gtronic (Nervous Records), Seb Zito (Fuse London) & Durante (Anjunadeep). 

DeBease is a resident with Brooklyn based collective/label BKH Records.

After moving to New York City almost a decade ago, and now residing in Brooklyn, KC fell into the New York City grind like many others, but it was his discovery and romance with dance music that gave him a new sense of life and soul.  After experiencing the magic of the New York City dance floors that have brought to life so many genres before, KC discovered the four-on-the-floor beat of house music that has become the heartbeat to his soul.  His constant exploration of new sounds and house sub-genres has him delving into areas that help him express the emotions he feels at various times in life...whether that be at sunset on the rooftops of one the greatest cities in the world or at sunrise at Burning Man.  KC's sets are a constant narrative of the thoughts and emotions that center around deep feelings of curiosity and love of the world and the people around him.  When he is not off on an adventure, you can typically find him dabbling in funky, soulful house music with sprinkles of disco classics, deep house melodies and tribal beats around New York City as he attempts to bring together strangers and friends to lose themselves on the dance floor.
