Dutch producer Steven Baan, aka Estiva, releases his first original productions on Anjunabeats with the ‘Sky EP’.

By no means a stranger to the label, Estiva has already added four impressive remixes to our catalogue. His reworks include tracks by Daniel Kandi, Super8 & Tab and an outstanding edit of Spada’s ‘Part of Me’. An accomplished DJ, Estiva has graced the stages of Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Ultra and Dreamstate, where he will return later this year. 

This three-track EP represents the Dutch producer’s first solo material on Anjunabeats. The title track ‘Sky’ was debuted by Above & Beyond in their Group Therapy 450 warm up deep set.

Reflections presents the fourth instalment of their various artists EP series with 'Reflections 04', embracing a new wave of ambient and downtempo talent to the Anjuna family roster.

Featuring four original compositions, the EP opens with 'Dancing Ego', an ethereal piano-led composition from classically trained Russian pianist and producer Omfeel. Followed by returning artist Igor Garanin, who presents his latest production 'Under The Weather'. Having featured on Anjunadeep's Reflections Vol. 02 EP, Manchester and Netherlands based duo Tryst join the Reflections roster with a lo-fi trip-hop inspired production 'Obrigado Por Tudo'. Rounding off the EP, British producer Sleep Surgeon returns to the label with another atmospheric electronic cut with 'Waiting'.

Above & Beyond's Paavo Siljamäki releases his debut solo album as P.O.S, ‘Deeper Tales’.

The culmination of a personal journey, ‘Deeper Tales’ sees Paavo reconnect with club culture, and rediscover himself, for his debut solo album as P.O.S.

A celebrated musician and DJ, Paavo is one-third of the legendary British dance institution Above & Beyond, founders of London-based label Anjunabeats. Double GRAMMY-nominated, RIAA Gold Certified artists, the trio have taken iconic festival stages and legendary live venues by storm, from Glastonbury, EDC, and Creamfields, to the Royal Albert Hall and Madison Square Garden.

But over the past five years, Paavo grappled with a number of personal and health-related difficulties, including several battles with Covid. “Basically, I had a burnout. I just couldn’t see what I wanted to do. And after my burnout, I was like: what is dance music to me? I don’t really know even if I like it. I’ve heard – I’ve written – too many build-ups! So I thought: that’s me done,” Paavo says.

Nature gave Paavo a sense of renewed purpose. It first inspired his work on Above & Beyond’s ambient album ‘Flow State’, and later drew him back onto the dance-floor. “There’s no feeling of freedom like being at sea,” he adds. “When I’m sailing, I synchronize with the sunrise and sunset – we almost always get up at sunrise. So this is like being really aligned with nature. I found that, after my burnout, and Covid, I really found myself in nature. There’s something about being closer with nature that is really healing – and very inspiring.”

After spending years behind the decks on stage, Paavo reflected on his experiences as a teenage rave kid, and felt compelled to dance in the heart of the crowd at the desert raves of Burning Man and clubs in Ibiza. His 'Deeper Tales' album embodies these recent experiences; uplifting, emotive club records with many debuted during Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 500 and Anjunadeep Open Air L.A. celebrations last autumn.

Paavo has already amassed millions of streams on his ‘Deeper Tales’ album singles to date, with ‘Polar Bears’ peaking at #6 in the Beatport Progressive House Chart. Born in a studio jam in Los Angeles in late 2021, 'Polar Bears' is a collaboration with DJ, producer, and Paavo's close friend, Spencer Brown. Paavo and Spencer's friendship stretches back to 2014, when the budding producer caught the ear of Above & Beyond with his debut release 'Chalice' on Avicii's imprint LE7ELS.

The lead single from 'Deeper Tales’ pairs P.O.S with anamē for an adaptation of ‘Lonely River’ by Kyan. UK-based Kyan Kuatois’s chart-topping discography includes collaborations with Duke Dumont on ‘Need You (100%)’ and Madeon on his 2015 hit track ‘You’re On’.

To celebrate his latest releases as P.O.S, Paavo recently completed his ‘Deeper Tales’ tour across North America. Shows in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and more gave fans a unique insight into Paavo’s creative identity outside of Above & Beyond.

Following his work with Swedish label Comorbid Records, Stockholm native Bård Ericson aka boerd has signed with Anjunadeep to release his latest mini-album, ‘Static’, on April 6th 

An accomplished musician, Bård’s boerd project aims to reflect his own personal emotions and atmosphere. With a deft and delicate approach to composition, his music draws you in whilst shutting out the outside world.

Cutting his teeth from age 15 in the world of chiptune (composing via the means of 16-bit videogame consoles), Bård quickly developed a taste for creating abstract music. And after a handful of EPs and live shows across Europe, he transitioned focus towards music that he felt better expressed his own place in the world. Enter ‘boerd’.

With influences ranging from Burial, Bibio and even Aphex Twin, the 26-year-old has developed a style that pushes the boundaries of atmospheric electronica with stunning attention to detail. Building his sound from samples he records himself, Ericson conjures a euphoric mix of subtle soundscapes that simultaneously breathe and play in awe.

More than an insular producer, Bård takes influence from his career playing double bass with the Swedish Royal Opera, Swedish Radio Symphony and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. His experience as a player in a significantly larger ensemble gives his music a unique vision and his arrangements a focus not easily realized by the typical bedroom producer.

His first work since signing with Anjunadeep, ‘Static’ is compiled of six meticulously crafted tracks. Amongst the release’s many highlights are the two vocal-led singles ‘Blind’ and ‘Void’. The former sees Bård debut his own vocals while on the latter the producer teams up with friend and fellow professional musician and producer, Ellen Arkbro. 

Speaking of the release, Bård explains, “’Förgängligt’ is a Swedish word that best translates to ‘transient’. For me, the songs on ‘Static’ are about this feeling - about relationships that never happened, about the ones that did happen but faded away, about both hard times and nice moments in my life that I’ve almost forgotten. Sometimes it feels like I’m stuck in a static blur of memories. The sounds and melodies in ‘Static’ makes the memories come alive a little bit, and I hope other people will have the same feeling.”

Launched in London in 2005, Anjunadeep has evolved into one of electronic music’s leading labels with almost 350 singles under its belt along with a string of iTunes #1 Dance / Electronic albums from artists such as Dusky, Lane 8, Cubicolor and Moon Boots. The label has also built an ever-increasing reputation for touring and hosting festival stages around the world all the while picking up a steady stream of coverage from publications like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, as well as leading industry press such as Pitchfork and Resident Advisor.
