To celebrate the forthcoming release of "Anjunadeep 05", Jody Wisternoff & James Grant have each put together exclusive 15 minute mini-mixes showcasing the sounds of their compilation mixes. 

Offering a snapshot of the much anticipated compilation, each mini-mix previews 5 tracks from the two CDs. Jody Wisternoff's mini-mix includes two exclusive new original tracks of his own, "We Are Heroes" and "Macbeth", along with Alfred Taylor's "Kuza" and Jody's take on "Alchemy" by Above & Beyond. James Grant's mini-mix features the brilliant "WYV AUW CHU" from Tom Middleton, along with Beckwith's "Back To Love" and Davi's "The Time Has Come".

Russ Davies has an enviable back catalogue under a number of aliases, and his latest project as Aiiso continues a fine run of form. Debuting the moniker on the label’s inaugural ‘Explorations’ EP series in early 2016 with ‘Point Of Return’, Russ follows up with the four track 'Your Love Is An Echo EP’.

The EP opens with title track 'Your Love Is An Echo’, a fan favourite from the label’s recent iTunes dance #1 album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, which features Russ' own vocoder vocals on top of a languid balearic groove. Next up, brooding roller, ‘Hopeful For A Sign’; a fusion of retro synths and delicate piano melodies. ‘Cisca’ combines throwback progressive house elements with a killer bass groove, before rounding off the EP with the blissed out sounds of ‘Autumn Leaves’.

Sometimes you just have the creative drive to finish something in a matter of hours, not days. I loved the musicality and melodies in Vernal when I first heard it on Anjunabeats Vol. 13, I just had to put my own spin on it. No MIDI packs were used in this remix at all, I had the original on repeat trying to figure out which notes were playing. I also added in a few harmonies not present in the original. Hope everyone enjoys my remix of Spencer Brown - Vernal.

Remixing Koelle's track ‘Falling upwards’ Featuring Margret on vocals. I loved the warm recording of the piano in the original so I began with overdubbing some piano of my own interpretations. I also feature the Cello and Violin at the breakdowns to embody some more ideas.🎶
Koelles Synth work was perfect on its own so I weaved in these sounds like silk towards the end without changing a thing.🎼🎧
Maybe this would suit a warm afternoon on the deck with a few drinks at sundown.🌄
