Announcing themselves earlier this year with the “Next Planet EP", the mysterious Cubicolor are rapidly making a name for themselves. Pete Tong named them as one of the hottest acts to watch in the next 12 months, and the “Got This Feeling EP” shows exactly why.

Featured on Anjunadeep 06, title track “Got This Feeling” is an anthem in the best sense of the word; catchy but classy with intricate details. A chugging melodic groove and lazy percussion make way for a majestic piano breakdown and a joyous vocal loop. Anjuna regulars can finally put an ID to this one after hearing it on their Anjunadeep Edition mix earlier this year!

“Still Linger In My Dreams” is another beautiful piece of soulful and melodic dance music that shows Cubicolor at their most cinematic. Sweeping percussion combines with another gorgeous vocal loop, surrounded by deft textures and intricate production.

“A New High” sees Cubicolor show off their darker side, with a dancefloor orientated tech house weapon heard recently in Dom Donnelly’s Anjunadeep Edition mix. Energetic percussion drives the track through to a complex breakdown which builds and builds before skilfully dropping back into the flowing bass groove.

Eerie murmurs and a punching kick greet you in the first few seconds and that sets the tone for the venomous cut. After a minute the rigorous low-end rumbles and bumps into the frame and before long it's all out warfare.

The whole thing explodes and once all the elements are introduced there's no turning back, you're placed slap bang in the danger zone. It's savage but boy is it brilliant.

Coyu's words: "I've grown up listening to Moby. I've grown up listening albums like 'Play' and '18'. I've grown up listening 'Go', 'Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad',  'Porcelain' and 'Natural Blues'. They are all an important part of my life, but if there's one cut that really has touched my heart, has to be 'Natural Blues'. Can't explain why. Is not Moby's most perfect composition but it doesn't exist any other track that makes me feel like this. A mix of sadness and hope. And here I am, 31 years old (almost the same age as Moby when he wrote 'Natural Blues') and 20 years after its release, remixing my favorite tune. Trying not to destroy a piece of work I love and has meant so much to me. Has been one of the most beatiful challenges of my entire carreer. What else can I ask for when I'm remixing my favourite track? Nothing more. I just tried to give it my own touch. A tribute. Take it from my heart and bring it to the dancefloor. And I have the feeling that I've done it. I'm really lucky."
