Having debuted on ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 03’ earlier this year, emerging UK duo Fluida now return with a trio of diverse cuts on their ‘Branches EP’. Title track and ‘Anjunadeep 09’ favourite ‘Branches’ sets the tone with its delicate atmospherics, vocal hooks and trademark hang drum sounds. Peak-time weapon ‘Ahead’ blends tribal grooves with an infectious looping riff, before the EP comes to a contrasting close with the brooding ‘Awaken’.

Prior to its release on September 1st we present Hayun, the joyous second track from Sam Goku's EP. It is an emotive fanfare of gliding violins dancing above a conquering bassline. The accompaniment of birdcalls, blistering cicadas and trumpeting elephants result in the record feeling somewhat like an ode to mother nature. A track that emanates the surge of energy felt when exploring the wild. If you have the opportunity, we strongly recommend listening to this one whilst out in the nature. Having joined the Anjunadeep ranks last year via the label’s Explorations EP series, Finland’s Tontario has gone on to deliver a string of well received releases, including a stunning rework of Ólafur Arnalds’s ‘Öldurót’. Tontario now returns to the label with another set of adventurous downtempo cuts on the four track ‘From Below EP’

The EP opens with the string-laden textures of ‘Löpeld’, before drifting into the floating groove of ‘Rove’ (featuring Benjamin Gustafsson). Next ‘Vilsenhet’ serves up a heavier brooding vibe to the package before rounding off the EP on an ambient note with ‘Worriers’.

There is no one better suited to give Supermode’s immortal hit “Tell Me Why” a 2017 rebirth than Code Red boss Marcus Schossow.

The Swedish songster looks to finish up 2017 in fantastic fashion. He brought his Code Red imprint back to life with his seismic hit “Rumble,” which worked its way into the sets of Kryder, W&W and plenty more. Then, he added his signature house sound to records like Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s “More Than You Know” and SOVTH’s “Boriquas”. Now, “Tell Me Why” illustrates his magic touch with house music.

Originally crafted by super-duo Supermode (Steve Angello and Axwell), Marcus Schossow quickly allows his style to take centerstage on this record. The anthemic and instantly recognizable vocals ring out while Schossow builds up layers of intense melody beneath them. These levels join together to form a particularly power and dark house vibe that Schossow has made his signature.
