Following their three captivating singles ‘List’, ‘Cesta’ and ‘Meliadi', which between them saw radio support from Sian Eleri at BBC Radio 1 and DJ support from Jody Wisternoff, TSHA, Qrion, and Icarus, il:lo are back on Anjunadeep with a remix from Swedish producer Hosini.

With a considerable back catalogue on Anjunadeep, Hosini’s intricate production style perfectly compliments il:lo’s sampling and sound design. Introducing some dreamlike breakdowns, a two-step beat, and a swathe of percussive elements, Hosini’s beautiful interpretation recalls the likes of Bonobo, Mild Minds, and Tycho.

Forming in 2012, il:lo have released on Future Classic, bitbird, Future Archive Recordings and Loci Records, releasing several EPs and remixing the likes of Panama, Jerro, Emancipator and CloZee. Characterised by extensive use of ornate sampling and live instrumentation, il:lo’s whimsical productions are inspired from the duo’s travels, taking their names from valued moments in their journeys.

After a seven-year hiatus, French electronic artist Croquet Club, AKA Jeremy Villecourt returns with his brand new single ’Slowly’, as part of his forthcoming debut album 'Fugue In Twilight'.

Croquet Club has been at the heart of Anjunadeep for the best part of a decade, after being discovered via Soundcloud and making his debut on the label in 2013 with his double AA side ‘Awake / Cardigan’. Since then, he has gone on to drop a variety of releases including the fan and tastemaker favourite ‘Love Exposure EP’. ‘Summer’ from that EP had its own summer renaissance last year on Tiktok, after going viral on the platform. Croquet Club rounded out the year of 2023 with his ethereal and emotive instrumental track ‘Solace’. 

‘Slowly’ is a track that explores the human need for love, solace and intimacy. Jeremy layers his own vocals with hazy keys, nostalgic guitar rhythms and lofi beats, alongside lyrics about solitude and our relationship with ourselves.

'Slowly' is out now on Reflections.

Joseph Ashworth makes his return to Anjunadeep with the ‘Radio Silence EP’, following on from label favourites ‘Lost’ and ‘Rebound’, which won support in Dixon, Patrice Bäumel and Sasha. A diverse package of melodic electronica and club ready cuts, the EP opens with the quirky sounds of title track ‘Radio Silence’ featuring distinctive vocals from Canadian Piper Davis, to the summery melodies of 'Canary', before rounding of with the arpeggiated grooves of ‘Glimmer’.

Braxton makes a welcome return to renowned imprint Anjunadeep with double A side ‘Torn/Chiaroscuro’, out May 20th. ‘Chiarascuro’ was released on the label’s Vol.11 compilation and has been lauded as one of the best tracks of the year so far. 

Accompanied by the fresh, unreleased track ‘Torn’, this perfect summer two-tracker confirms Braxton as one of the hottest UK talents on the electronic music circuit. 

Since his debut on Anjunadeep with ‘When the Sun Goes Down’ in 2019, he’s established himself as the tastemaker’s favourite and remixes for the likes of RUFUS DU SOL, Tourist and GRADES have previously won the support from BBC radio royalty. 

‘Chiaroscuro’ brings back breakbeat with a 90s inspired sound perfect for clubs and headphones moments alike. It plays with layers of sound and shifting synth textures for the ultimate uplifting vibe. 

In ‘Torn’, the chilled vocals of Brighton newcomer Danni Wells tell a tale of heartache, whilst subtle cello lines meet soulful chord progressions to create a dreamy warm-weather hit. 

Speaking on the double A-side, Braxton explains “‘Chiaroscuro’ is about contrast. That’s the theme in a lot of my music, melodically and sonically, I try to find a balance between darkness and light. ‘Chiaroscuro’ means the contrast between light and shadow – and the track was inspired by a world that exists between two opposing states. 'Torn' is a pure, moody progressive house record. I was in a darker place when I wrote it, which the tone of Danni’s voice really suits – it’s a good track to get lost in.”
