After topping the Beatport chart and landing his first ‘Essential New Tune’ on BBC Radio 1 with his debut Anjunadeep EP ‘Morning Falls’, German wunderkind Ben Böhmer returns with the new ‘Dive EP’. A showcase of his trademark lush progressive sound, Ben’s sophomore EP on the label demonstrates his penchant for emotional melodies and masterful production.

Featuring the intoxicating vocals of Margret, opener ‘Dive’ navigates blissful builds and chord progressions, effortlessly blending in to the abstract ‘Sonnenallee’. This collaboration with Hifi Brother sees Böhmer craft pulsating synth melodies on a backdrop of rhythmic arps. Final track ‘Vale’ takes a moodier turn, favouring epic horns and foreboding synth-lines to create a haunting, cinematic atmosphere.

Anjunadeep’s Explorations series returns with the highly anticipated ‘Explorations 08’. This edition plays host to five label debutants, whilst warmly welcoming back Tim Engelhardt and David Hohme.

The compilation opens with the original and instrumental mixes of Tim Engelhardt's and Lazarusman’s eccentric vocal-house track ‘This Life’. Moving from rhythmic claps for swirling synths, next up is Enamour's ‘Ruby’. First heard in the ABGT300 Deep Set, ‘Ruby’ marks an immense label debut for the American producer. Next, David Hohme & Dustin Nantais combine for 'Onward Only’ - a sweet vocal-led track of swelling synths. Closing out the compilation is the tribal ’Native Therapy’, a luxuriant arrangement of jungle sounds and deep subs by debutants Zone+ & M.O.S.

Handpicked by curators Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, parts 1 & 2 of the Anjunadeep 10 Sampler collectively boast a line-up of the label’s freshest talent, featuring seven memorable moments from this year’s flagship ‘Anjunadeep 10’ compilation. Part 1 plays host to Anjuna debutants Jazz Do It and Jack Lost, and warmly welcomes the return of Yotto and SØNIN. 

First up is 'For A Moment’, an epic melodic journey by Jazz Do It, the alias of three accomplished Spanish producers. Sensual second cut ‘Walls’ sees Bristol-based producer Jack Lost ply his own soothing vocals amongst dark hard-hitting percussion. Lastly, certified crowd pleaser and collaboration with SØNIN, ’Nothing Like You’ reminds us why Yotto is the master of progressive house.

Fall is the result of Mono.Noise label head Daniele Di Martino and Second State artist Rocko Garoni. They have created a Techno anthem with straight drums, lots of acid and a striking melody which is made for intense nights. Second track is a hypnotic vocal mix of the original together with singer LoraUte - make sure not to get lost while listening. First remix is coming from Martin Eyerer and he is proofing once again that he understands how Techno works - absolute rave track. Matthias Schuell is known for his uncompromising Melodic Techno but this time he is giving us a different side of him. He produced a percussive Electronica remix with a constant progression and perfect arranged dramaturgy.

'Hari' is the thirty-ninth release of Aftertech Records. Amir Telem is on a grand spiritual journey and now he tries to share this spirituality with the rest of the world through his music. By putting chants and mantra's in his tracks he creates a wonderful and unique vibe which really caught our attention. Together with great, powerful and emotional remixes by Stoertebeker and Yeröm you can expect an amazing EP.

The title track 'Hari' starts with a captivating and repetitive combination of bass and an echoing synth. Once the beat comes in, accompanied by a violin-like melody, it becomes clear where Amir is taking us. Heavenly pads start floating around and woodblocks create an outstanding groove. Then to top it all off another melodic layer joins in into this orchestra of sounds. A wonderful creation all together!

'Deep Chanting' brings in a groovy beat right from the start. It is accompanied by a deep bass and smartly placed vocals and rides. When the melody slowly emerges, you are led deeper and deeper into the track. All comes together when epic brass sounds an echoing bells appear. Halfway on this wonderful trip a mesmerizing melody joins in, the bass starts moving and angels start singing. What an amazing debut by Amir on our Aftertech Records!

Stoertebeker is on remix duties once again and what a remix he delivers! He took the essence of Deep Chanting and turned it into a real ethereal power track. Epic brass sounds vibrate throughout the track underlined by a massive bassline. Shimmering noises create tension on exactly the right moments bring you further and further into Stoertebeker's interpretation of Deep Chanting. This one will do some damage on the dancefloor that is for sure!

The second remix comes from Yeröm, who starts to become a familiar face on Aftertech Records as well. And for good reason! His well-known growling bass sound brings power right at the start. In the break his melody works in perfect harmony with the original elements of Amir Telem. Tension is build up until that wonderful drop where classical and synthetic meet and melt into an emotional story towards the second break. Here is where the real climax is reached and there is nothing left to do but to be taken away into Yeröm's story of Hari.

@jamesanjunadeep and @jodywisternoff present the 'Anjunadeep 10 Remix Sampler' - a double cut featuring their own reinterpretations of Tomas Barfod’s ’Things That Matter’ and Jani R’s ‘Autumn Feathers’.

In their ‘Things That Matter’ remix, James and Jody weave the vocals of Louise & Sharin Foo through a warm melodic arrangement reminiscent of the uplifting house sound of the 2000s, whilst their take on ‘Autumn Feathers’ features a slightly more minimalistic sound with an orchestral influence.
