Heliotype is a man on a mission to create a fresh new sound in electronic music. Taking elements of house, garage and jungle, the Belfast-based producer curates a sonic palette that has led to the coining of the term "Balearic Bass". This is feel-good, melodic music for the club, the beach or the headphones with a distinctive Ibizan edge and has already had support from the likes of Danny Howard and Claptone to Tiesto and David Guetta. His super strong debut on D:Vision 'Saying Nothing' was followed by releases on Anjunadeep, Nervous, Toolroom and Exploited and Heliotype garnered major support from across the worldwide DJing and dance radio community, including multiple spins on BBC Radio 1 with Cool Cuts and Buzz Chart entries.

The credentials of this fast-rising DJ and producer are strengthened further by his skills as a radio presenter, demonstrated by the call coming from BBC Radio 1 to sit in for Pete Tong. This saw Stuart "Heliotype" Millar fulfil one of his musical ambitions, with radio having been a passion of his for a long time. Finding its way onto Armada Chill, the Balearic Mixes of Heliotype’s ‘Your Love’ exude the kind of wonder that has listeners hooked in seconds. Gently encouraging the world to rise from its slumber like a rising sun, these explosions of warmth and color are the perfect counter to the rush of everyday life.  In these uncertain times Heliotype is creating a unique and positive brand of music, maybe with one eye on returning to the White Isle in the not too distant future…

A showcase of fresh talent from the global electronic scene, Anjunadeep’s Explorations EP series returns for its nineteenth instalment, featuring Sascha Braemer, Mr. Sosa, Sinca, Moon Kyoo, MXV and Kaisland.

Kicking off the compilation is ‘Bad Behaviour’ from Berlin-based DJ and producer Sascha Braemer. Best known for his tracks ‘Caje’ and ‘Raoui’, Braemer’s decade long tenure has seen him released on labels including Get Physical, Kindisch and Stil vor Talent. Pairing Dom Fricot’s vocals with plucked synths, Braemer’s latest marks an exciting Anjunadeep debut.

Next up, Mr. Sosa, a British producer with releases on Last Night On Earth and Misplaced Records to his name, lands on Anjunadeep with ‘Euphoria’, a single showcasing his emotive production style. 

Based in Montreal, Sinca marks her artist debut with ‘Mancora’ - a euphoric track that leads with percussive-laden grooves and bright piano chords. Sinca’s latest affirms her positioning as an up and coming DJ and producer. 

Also marking his first release, South Korean producer Moon Kyoo touches down on Anjunadeep with ‘Between The Suns’. Leading with cascading melodies and pulsing basslines, Moon Kyoo’s latest showcases his detailed productions reminiscent of acts including Lane 8 and Ben Böhmer.

An intricate blend of intertwining synths and delicate chords, UK-based producer MXV delivers the emotive track ‘Only Want you’. MXV’s delicate sound design has seen him release on labels including Eat My Hat Music, Mango Alley and ICONYC.

Rounding off the compilation is Argentinian / US trio Kaisland with ‘Let The Rain Fall Faster’. Blending layered vocals with ‘80s-inspired synths, the trio demonstrate their chemistry as songwriters and producers.
