Hailing from the centre of the Netherlands, Kasper Koman marks his official Anjunadeep debut with double-cut ‘The Blind Navigator / Like Clockwork’. Having been in the industry for over a decade, Koman’s productions have seen him gain support from some of the biggest DJs in his field including Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, and Nick Warren.

First featured on Anjunadeep 11, ‘The Blind Navigator’ showcases Koman’s skill for building and releasing tensions with subtle atmospheric changes and compelling melodies.  ‘Like Clockwork’ explores Kasper’s unique sound design, delivering groove-laden drumlines layered with synth licks.

An artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track "Sinking Sky / Biome". A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J's Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the "Sinking Sky" opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent. "Biome" continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant. UK duo Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves AKA Death On The Balcony make their return to budding imprint All Day I Dream this month, treating dreamers to a splendid four track release. The record follows on from the killer 'Lingala' from label boss Lee Burridge and collaborator Lost Desert, which set charts alight in recent weeks. The rising outfit now hosts an intricate and eclectic ensemble of cuts from Death On The Balcony, including ‘Tides Of Fortune' - a tune, which has been causing much ado since 2015.

We're very excited to present Caramelli's solo creation '1,700 Miles' in full premiere today to When We Dip readers. The B-side on the release offers up a spectacular near ten minute epic, which fuses a thumpin' kick drum with a collection of spicy melodic touches and fluttering perc elements.
