Covering 5 tracks from the hotly anticipated "Anjunadeep 05" compilation mixed by Jody Wisternoff and James Grant, this sampler features exclusive material from UK house duo Dusky, Andrew Bayer & James Grant, the much-loved Solarity and rising star Universal Solution. 

Opening things up is Andrew Bayer & James Grant's uniquely deep take on "It's Cool" by Australian indie-electronic act The Presets - taken from last year's gold selling album "Pacifica". Stripping things back entirely, Bayer and Grant reconstruct the original into a moody, hypnotic vocal deep house epic - complete with stirring pianos. 

Responsible for some of the biggest deep house tracks of the past 18 months in "Flo Jam" and "Nobody Else", London duo Dusky return to the label that released their debut album "Stick By This" with the atmospheric "Mr Man". Already a favourite of Sasha among others, "Mr Man" sees Dusky take a more measured approach with deep, brooding bass grooves, hypnotic textures and a classy piano refrain. 

Andrew Bayer & James Grant team up again for the brilliant "Living". Soaked in lazy groove and percussive fills, "Living" is a deep, melodic house gem that unravels beautifully and climaxes on a washing, emotion-loaded breakdown. 

Hotly tipped talent Gavin Holland aka Universal Solution then contributes with the spacey and epic "Osheen". A great introduction to the label, "Osheen" blends a dark, growling bassline with LTJ Bukem-esque soundscapes to create a perfect Anjunadeep alchemy. 

Completing the package is the blissed-out ambient electronica of Solarity's "Symbols", who make a much-anticipated return to the label.

Winner of 'Best Track Title' so far this year, we're very pleased to be able to present to you a full premiere of Gab Rhome's 'I've Changed My Scent For You'. This is a real gem of a track, in Gab's signature deep, emotive style and we're sure you're going to enjoy streaming it just as much as we've enjoyed playing it here at the Deep House London office for the past few days!

In case you're unfamiliar with Gab Rhome, he's been knocking around for a few years now and first came to our attention through his timeless '1990 As In Gold Was Born', which was released on Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts label via a compilation called Things Have Changed, in 2012. Since then he's had several key releases on labels such as Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream, Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Get Physical and Culprint to name but a few. His style rests at the deeper, more melodramatic end of house music and is perfect for those endless summer days that we're soon to be enjoying!

Gab new EP comes via the always trusty Anjunadeep label and features two other great tracks, 'Drifting' and 'Warm Days'. We can't recommend it highly enough and the track below is a perfect example of just how good it is. Gab worked tirelessly on the EP, spending much of his time and energy composing, arranging and even singing on the tracks himself so it's a labour of love, which is obvious when you listen to it.

Gab Rhome - Drifting

Nobody knew too much about Krywald & Farrer when their email landed in our Gmail accounts late earlier this month. They’ve earned their stripes, yes. Their residencies at a number of London’s clubs tell us that story. But today’s debut tells us that they clearly just get a kick out of smushing genres together.

“The People’s Asafo” sees warm house textures flirt with an infusion of Ghanaian beatwork for eight minutes. A coaxing leg-shaker if there ever was one. It arrives on March 30th (via Silver Bear Recordings) and backed by B-side “He’s The Chief” which continues the afrocentric theme with gusto.

Lance Gurisik aka Lancelot made an impressive debut on Anjunadeep last year with “Givin’ It Up”, which along with the huge MK remix picked up Radio 1 play from T. Williams, Skream, Mistajam and Danny Howard, and glowing coverage from Pitchfork and Mixmag. 

In the year that followed Lance has dropped another exciting EP on Anjunadeep, remixed dance-pop legends The Presets, debuted his live show and scored a major Australian TV show. He returns to the label with “Connection”, his first single of 2015. Stripped back to the dancefloor essentials, “Connection” revolves around an atmospheric repetitive groove, punctuated with shimmering melodic flourishes and snippets of sampled vocals.
