Used to carry James Grant's 'Anjunadeep:03' mix to a groove-fuelled melodic climax, Matt Lange's 'Rift' is yet another signal of the US-producer's unparalleled sonic skills.

Subtle, sonically warm and full of musical nuances, 'Rift' is built around a languorous, almost French house styled bassline with waves of slow-burning melodic textures easing into the mix. 

A producer renowned for his class and individuality, Andrew Bayer then puts his own refined musical stamp on 'Rift'' with a gorgeously paced and deeply musical re-interpretation. Blending a slightly darker bass groove with some swirling but subtle synth work, Bayer then illuminates the original's melodies into an epic, starry-eyed breakdown

Leftwing & Kody, aka Jon Kong and Chris Aidy, return to Anjunadeep after “Deep In”, their epic contribution to last year’s label compilation. 

“Tell Me” sees them develop the wide-ranging sounds that have been released on labels as diverse as Exploited, OFF and Suara, channeling throwback progressive influences to great effect. Cascading synths rain down over a surging bassline, with ethereal vocals adding a sophisticated touch to this peak-time monster.

The track will be featured on the upcoming compilation 'Anjunadeep 06 Mixed By James Grant & Jody Wisternoff', released on September 8th on Anjunadeep.

After ending their four year hiatus from the label with the fantastic "Beat Organ EP" earlier this summer, 16 Bit Lolitas aka Ariaan Olieroock and Peter Kriek are back with another huge three track EP.

Title track "Deep In My Soul", was an instant office favourite, and picked up it's first play live on BBC Radio 1 from none other than Pete Tong during his Essential Mix with Sasha at Privilege in Ibiza. Fusing their trademark melodic grooves with an infectious vocal loop, Ariaan and Peter deliver a real anthem - one as equally potent poolside as it is in the main room, as Tong and Sasha can testify.

Equally memorable second track "Premium Emo" takes a more leftfield approach, built around gliding guitars and soaring vocals over a breakbeat groove. First heard in their ABGT guest mix earlier this year, "Premium Emo" is yet another 16BL classic.

"Higher State" rounds off the EP in style, showcasing the deeper end of Ariaan and Peter's musical spectrum. Soulful, jazzy melodies make way for rolling low end grooves and energetic synths in an another complex gem.

Featuring on Above &amp; Beyond's recent "Anjunabeats Volume 9", Jaytech's "Overdrive" is the latest effort from the prolific Australian and takes a more hypnotic route than normally associated with his sound. 

A glistening, groove-laden progressive builder that layers waves of melodic textures, "Overdrive" eventually arrives at a dramatic breakdown climax - teasing out the anticipation before a laser-lit drop. Having previously enjoyed releases on Nick Warren's Hope and Morrison Recordings, the highly regarded French producer Seb Dhajje steps up for his debut Anjunadeep release with the deep tranced-out techno of "Leeknath" and the progressive gem "Calista Nantes".

Tripped-out, detailed and hypnotic, "Leeknath" is a beautiful eight-minute epic that blends deep techno grooves with subtle, melodic texture. Full of intricate soundscapes and subtle shifts, "Leeknath" is a track that demands and rewards repeat listens.

A more obviously melodic but equally deep affair, "Calista Nantes" harks back to the glory days of progressive trance albeit channelled through Dhajje's classy, modern production sound.

A collaborator of the mighty Deadmau5, Duda has also worked with renowned artists like industrial pioneers Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie and A Perfect Circle. Bringing three decades of production expertise to the ‘Quadcore’ table, Duda’s remix is a respectful rework that keeps the dirty electro groove but adds a beautifully emotive piano melody that is both sombre and optimistic.
