I lied; THIS was my very first attempt at fusing synthwave with progressive house. This is a very old track of mine that I have revived and remastered. This one doesn't have a drop and is rather short-lived, but it otherwise encompasses what you'd expect from a track written to combine synthwave elements with prog-house elements. To be honest, I completely forgot why I named it "higher power." I probably just thought it "sounded cool."

Doha based producer A.M.R renders his return to the Alter Ego progressive imprint after a hefty break, and reintroduces himself with this simply stunning double header 'Time Lapse / World Without Colour'. An EP that will take you away from wherever you are or whatever you are doing; a truly sincere piece of music!

Both tracks tell a poignant story with a collection of perfect sonic flavours. Warm and sun-kissed plucks, crisp and driving percussion, emotive ethnic woodwinds, and smooth and dreamy guitar lines make for a perfect combination! The breakdown is lit up by an emotive string and guitar theme which rolls into an unbelievably poignant climax that will leave you hitting the repeat button, again and again,. Don't miss this one!

Opening with the divine 'Circles' Matt's trademark depth of sound makes a welcome return. Combining charming elements of Progressive with an encompassing depth, 'Circles' twists and turns through rolling chord lead builds, delectable bass chords and soothing vocal chops.

Seamlessly moving into track two, Matt Fax's clubbier sound makes a return in 'Aura Lusia'. Retaining the enveloping atmospherics of 'Circles', the final track of the EP moves into deep Progressive territory. A testament to Matt Fax's mature sound, 'Aura Lusia' completes yet another extremely impressive EP with a reflective, impeccably produced slice of euphoria.
