French visionary Rodriguez Jr. makes his original Anjunadeep debut with an eclectic double cut entitled ‘Phoenix / Amargosa’.

Real name Olivier Mateu, Rodriguez Jr. has become synonymous with deep driving house and untamed melodic creativity. Drawing inspiration from artists as diverse as Stockhausen, LFO, Carl Craig, Eric Satie, and Kraftwerk, Mateu’s unique style has prompted releases on Mobilee, Systematic, and Watergate Records, and over 130 releases in the Beatport Top 100. His remix of Eli & Fur’s ‘Night Blooming Jasmine’ saw huge industry support from the likes of Tiesto, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, and Jason Bentley.

‘Phoenix / Amergosa’ sees Rodriguez Jr.’s characteristic swirling analogue synths thread through dark arrangements of groove-heavy basslines and thumping drums.
