Since his Anjunadeep debut on 2019’s Anjunadeep Explorations 11 with ’Sama', Simon Doty has developed a reputation for delectable deep melodic house. Following his recent 'Sonoma / Luna’ and ‘Airtight EP’ which saw support from the likes of Joris Voorn, Lane 8, and Edu Imbernon, Simon Doty returns with his ‘Dear Ben EP’ an emotional homage to his late friend and manager Ben.

Title track ‘Dear Ben’ opens the EP, with Oliver Wickham’s vocals lending themselves to the melancholic but touching arrangement of arps and soft progressions. Vocalist Liu Bei features on ‘Open Air’, a darker cut brimming with intensity which 'Rave Generator’ then takes a step further. Finally, closer ‘Uno’ provides a grounding release, ending in warm array of arpeggios.
