Deep & Eclectic 106

Originally aired February 11, 2016. The TRACKLIST is posted below the description. Some of you might know that my last SC account got purged a few months ago and I lost a lot of old mixes. A lot were sets that were recorded live but I also lost a series where I did B2B sessions in my studio with DJ friends when they were visiting LA. One of the most popular one was the one I did with NDYD's label boss Kris Santiago (@krissantiago) when he was here visiting two summers ago. A lot of people reached out to ask after the purge if this mix was still available somewhere. Well now it is! I found the original recording we did and I re-master it   and now it's EP75 of the radio show.  If you heard it before you will be glad to revisit it and if you never did well it still sounds fresh.

Next week we are back with a big special guest from Australia and I can tell you he is one of my favs and I am so excited to have him on the show. I might need a 'doctor' for this one. Tune in next week to find out who it is :) In the meantime enjoy this little B2B session that Kris and I put together and if you like it why not share it with others.

My essential mix was created with a sunrise set on the robot heart bus in mind out at Burning man, 2015. I played the actual set at BM pretty much the same time this mix was broadcast on Radio one. Although my music is listened to in many different places, at many different times and by many different people it always begin with the same pure and simple thought; will Christina love it? Christina by the way is my wonderful girlfriend. She's always the first person I want to share everything with and, in the case of a mix or a track, the first person to hear it. For me, love is the answer to so much. It connects me to wonderful places in my mind and in my heart. She's always inspired me deeply and it's what I connect with when I'm creating something new. When I gave this to her recently she played it over and over and she loved it. This made me feel complete. It made me feel happy.
