OpenLab welcomes @sashaofficial for the first edition in a new series of LUZoSCURA radio shows aired exclusively on OpenLab. LUZoSCURA signals a new phase of Sasha’s decade-spanning career which evolved from an eponymous Spotify playlist.
Announced earlier this week, Sasha will also release the LUZoSCURA compilation on 7th May via Alkaane / !K7. A project which is compiled and mixed by Sasha spanning 21 exclusives and designed to flow like a DJ mix for home listening.

Granular haze layers and distant chime echoes build quiet, cinematic depth—like a long driveway to a faded manor disappearing in mist. No vocals—just flow, space, and air. Final master for streaming: smooth top end (no harshness), velvet low end, long stereo reverb tails.

We couldn’t quite believe it when we heard that Sasha mixed the latest instalment of the Late Night Tales series. Someone so iconic It's been a while since we’ve been treated to something from the legend and Scene Delete shows a whole new side to the house and techno legend.

With sounds inspired by the likes of Steve Reich, Nils Frahm and Max Richter, we are treated to the more contemplative side of Sasha as he ditches the big beats for more sombre sounds. The CD showcases a side to Sasha that we’ve never seen before and we are delighted to delve deeper into it with his Slumber Session mix for i-D.
