In 2017 Shambhala was threatened by rapidly spreading forest fires. On the Forrest Stage, during my ELPHNT SET, I proclaimed it “a rain dance” in hopes to put the fires out. Many evacuated as word spread that the last day might not happen, but late into the night, after my set, it rained!

The mix you’re listening to is my WOLF SET from the Village Stage on that last day. At the end of my set, on my very last song “Feel the Love”, it started raining again! The timing was incredible. The mood was euphoric. 

Without a doubt, this was one of the most magical experiences I’d ever had DJ’ing. There are a few clips online that really help paint the picture of what you hear. 

Thanks to the Shambhala posse for always showing me so much love, shout out to Mother Nature and all the Wolves that got down with me that night!

Another free treat from us, this time we have a deep and groovy track from a LA based UK born and bred dj/producer Jamie Charles. Jamie's sound is deep and thick and not boxed in by any particular genre. Both original tracks on his debut Counter Culture EP charted under the Draft label, climbing the Beatport Minimal Charts. 

He continues to explore the endless possibilities of music production in the studio, with a continued drive and passion stemming from an early obsession of underground music growing up as a kid in England. Frequenting the LA underground music scene and beyond, Jamie continues to twist and shape around an ever evolving music scene with a versatile sound to offer interested ears.

Drawing on the passion and soul instilled in him growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Patricio has blurred out of all confines of genres. His sound has been known to move all over the musical spectrum. In Los Angeles Patricio and Shawni, his wife,  co-created a party called THE SPACE IN BETWEEEN. This joint venture was a desire to bring some of the Favela Bar, a stage he co-created and now curates at Lightning in a Bottle, from the festival into the city. Bringing something more intimate while supporting all the amazing local talent that Los Angeles has to offer. 

You can also find Patricio bringing his contagious style up and down the west coast and at festivals like Coachella, Symbiosis and Minimal Effort.  Patricio is also currently working on a few studio productions coming to your dance floors not soon enough.
