Some of you already know that I'm a big lover of Movie Soundtracks. I really like those punchy violins that you can hear in some action movies, so I decided to try to make some. After making a big part of the track, I thought that it was still missing something. I made it to listen to a couple of friends, and one was with his daughter, Elea, 9 years old. She seemed to enjoy the track and was very interested to music. So I asked her if she would like to sing on it and we had a lot of fun doing it. During DGTL Festival 2014 the founder of Stil Vor Talent, Oliver Koletzki will be laying down his deeply melodic sound that has made its mark on the global dance scene for the better part of the last decade. 'I am O.K.' reads the title of Koletzki's upcoming album. In 2014, after 26 years as a musician, he clearly achieved what he set out to do. In the spring his new album drops, he's touring the US, and then he’ll be moving the studio and office to Berlin's Holzmarkt. Hypothetically he could have a bit of a rest, but he wouldn't think of it, cause he's having way too much fun.

Oliver Koletzki - Deep House Amsterdam DGTL Podcast #007

With a massive output of collaborations in the last couple of months with Tube & Berger, Paji, Flo MRZDK or Chemical Surf, it’s definitely time again for Juliet Sikora to bring her very own and long-awaited EP to your speakers! After her huge success being producing part next to Tube & Berger on “Come On Now (Set It Off)” last year, “Larrys Garage EP” consisting of two tracks is one of the most promising releases on the Kittball-catalogue for the first half of 2015. The title track grooves with a deep bass going with a female soul vocal and a cheering crowd which is something in accordance for the upcoming summer and Open Air-Season. “Tender Trip” is a small following to the underground sound of the 90’s tripping with a more classic base and acid-biased loops. All in one this is a package you should keep a strong eye on as it will for sure touch you more often the next months! 2015 is going to be a massive year for Juliet Sikora with an output of strong remixes for Lane 8, Notize & Fura and further collaborations with Tube & Berger, Nakadia and Berlin based Lars Moston!

Mark Knight’s latest outing on Toolroom Records is a timeless, feel-good slice of musical hedonism that harks back to those glorious days when house was house, and nothing more.

These days, the word ‘house’ is more often than not accompanied by a qualifier: is it ‘tech’, ‘deep’, ‘future’ or one of another dozen or so sub-genres that seek to further categorize a style of music that frankly could do without it. Step forward Mark Knight to deliver ‘Yebisah’: a record that is HOUSE, pure and simple, perfectly timed to put a smile on the faces of thousands of clubbers all around the world, not least of all in Ibiza.

"Back in the day, Ibiza was about house, not tech House, techno, minimal or bass music” says Mark. “That’s why people used to congregate there. I just wanted to write a solid, uplifting house record that DJs could play peak time or at the end of their set. Ibiza has been instrumental in my DJing career and as an artist and this record is an ode to the most magical island on the planet. It’s a house cut that I hope a lot of DJs will love and recognise why it’s perfect to be played on the island."
