Our guest is Ohmydais [ @ohmydais ]  , she’s London based artist, been djing for 8years. Her music journey is huge, including multiple mixes for many places in London. It’s our pleasure to present her mix special for Your Character.

Having learned how to use LimeWire without getting a debilitating computer virus at an early age, Aleister practically clawed his way into memorable existence with a hunger for sharing music. Having a specific taste for fantastic music and technology outside of its intended decade, he decided to enter his foray into the world of electronica in the early 2010's through the only era-inappropriate choice of media - radio. Starting his musical night-job mixing techno, trap, house, and drum and bass on 91.5FM WUML, Lowell, he finally realized, "Wow, there's tens of people listening to this!" Garnering attention from scheduled on-air guests such as Herobust and Getter and local commuters with broken AUX inputs, he has received praise such as "solid mixes," and, "radio still exists?"

After a brief hiatus from radio and people, he wondered during the start of the pandemic, "How can I get more people to leave me alone?" The obvious answer, with his innate need to help revive long-buried genres and a platonic love for hip-hop and techno, was to start wielding jock jam playlists consisting of electro, ghettotech, and acid techno tracks. Since then, he has also started making his own music to lose money from, which music enthusiasts would consider "pretty good" or "danceable if I'm drunk." With rising international support and releases on 199, Brick Sweat Records, and his own Bandcamp, who knows where things could go before his next hiatus?

Stemming from a successful 24 hour radio takeover, WITH AN ALIEN is a brand new, intimate, inclusive, underground Electro party curated by Katya. The party series takes place at London's best intimate venue, The Glove that Fits, on a Sunday every 3 months.

With ‘3 YEARS OF E-MISSIONS’, the New York based label embarks on its largest project to date. Helmed by P.leone and Caiazzo since its inception in 2017, E-MISSIONS has cultivated widespread respect for releasing cutting edge, off-kilter techno from a tight-knit group of artists approaching club music from unconventional angles. ‘3 YEARS OF E-MISSIONS’ is a roaring yet neat summation of a fresh label in it’s prime.
