When you have the combination of having @lola-villa-musica remixing @tahumomusic 's Tarrot for our dear friends @hugrecords we just must share with you this wonderful track! The sun is out oozing with warmness! 

Track Info: 

Tahumo is a concept of musical duality, uniting the worlds between
Sarrelangue and Lorena Campos. Mexican producers that fuse melodic
techno and deep house unifying ethnic sounds, recordings of everyday
life, nature, and the energy of the electric guitar.

This particular track is a remix by Colombian born, D.C based Lola
Villa. She has been a resident of Love Foundation since 2015 and this is
the second remix that she made for Hug Records. It comes in turbulent
times and should help to find some peace and harmony during your day. As
always 50% of the profit from the sale of this track support the Love
Foundation and the other 50% are split equally between Hug Records and
the artist.

Cheekha Dar, meaning Black Tent, is the Kurdish name given to the highest mountain on the Iraqi/Iranian border. Its peak sits majestically in an area known for shaping the Earth's stories. The tracks on this EP combine sounds from this region, as well as Asia, delivering 2 versions of the title track for day time and night time adventures. The Day version is a sensual flow, perfect for your sunset. The Night version is not only faster but has intense violin parts, working great to light up the dance floor, as it has been tested since last years festival season. Being able to be assumed as the most radical humankind's intervention in the landscape, the city is generically a cluster of buildings, processes and people. According to United Nations, almost two-thirds of the world's population will live in cities by 2050. Thus, cities are the places where people live most of the time, but they should not be understood only as material urban heritage, otherwise, where would the driving forces coming from solidarity social relations fit in? Modestly, we took the theme of cities as an incentive to venture into the real world experiences and to celebrate the label's fifth year anniversary date. The compilation maintains the weekly release format and has three sub-themes: 'manhã' (morning), 'tarde' (afternoon) and 'noite' (night). Each one bringing the interpretations of the artists to the different situations of the city as the activities unfold during a whole day.

To a limited extent, humans depend on cities for the civilizing process. The space where people move, whether by car or on foot, is the dizzying essence of all this cultural dimension that allows the humanization of cities. It is the space where we meet, where we dream, where we sit, where we talk, where we express ourselves collectively. Stage for everyday life and also for funerals, processions, demonstrations, big parties. The joys and pains are inside the houses but they also have their projections flying over the cities, stimulating diverse movements towards the union of contrasting communities. Therefore, the compilation's intentions are focused on the nuances between Urbanism, Anthropology, Urban Sociology and any themes that we have omitted here for lack of words or knowledge.

When getting the chance to get away from the hectic race of the day, nighttime is the right time for some and in the cities is a judgment free-zone. Perceptive, mysterious; darkness gives people a way to hide from the prying eyes of others, even if at home or in the urban fabric. Also, gives people an intense desire to walk out, hanging out and nightclubbing as a form of escapism from everyday life. During the late night, the city is quiet with a stillness in the air. Without all the bustle and noise, occasional silence, lullabies to the tired eyes. We rest our heads in pillows every night, sometimes with regrets and sometimes proud to do what we have done. Meanwhile, in homeopathic doses, the city weaves under the influence of dreams a tangle of pressing real life responsibilities that need to be fulfilled before the morning sun rises. Dream, baby dream!
