Time Will Fly is an original song written on 13th October 2022, and integrated three separate days of random lyric ideas to form a song! This song is how I feel about long distance relationships and the bittersweet desperate feeling that comes with it. The song had a bit more co-ordination to it between rhythms in the vibraphone and vocals, but was lots of fun to play with tracked instruments on Logic Pro X.

Memory Of Friends Dancing At A Wedding

Written for solo prepared piano, this is my version of the Cuban guaguanco rhythm, from the piece "Three Latin Rhythms". It was recorded for my album "More than my old piano" as well as Gabriella Smart's album "Chinese Whispers". It was the theme music for ABC Classic FM's coverage of the ICSM World Music Days in Sydney 2010. Gabriella Smart also recorded this for Move Records.

About the piece: Skylarkers was commissioned by Kathleen Kemp, assistant principal cellist in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
