BURNING MAN 2025 SUNRISE SET

Shape of the Question is about sitting in the unknown.. the space where answers don’t arrive neatly packaged, but reveal themselves in the act of asking. This mix is my exploration of that space.. the tension between doubt and trust, expectation and surrender.

To me, the “shape” is how the unknown carves me..how curiosity, wondering, and stumbling forward gives form to who I am becoming.

Überhaupt & Außerdem @ Mystic Creatures Festival [Cotton Candy Creatures Corner 2025]

My recording from this year's Mystic Creatures Festival is here!

Saturday morning, 8-10 am at the marvelous Creatures Corner. I had a hard time picturing what the floor could look like at this hour, so in the end I decided to prepare only an opening track, and let the rest flow, crossing a little through genres, with more groove than bounce and a lot of melody. It was Fun with a big F, and seeing all the smiling faces on the dancefloor at this hour was a touching experience.

It was the best ending of festival season I could have imagined, with a spectacular gathering of humans who all made it so special. Thank you all - my heart is full.

(My own recording messed up, but luckily the technicians had recorded a backup - how is it even possible that with all the advances in tech, recording a set is still often a gamble?! Thanks for sending it my way!)
