For the 55th "VISION OF" podcast, we're delighted to present a magnificent set by MI$$ JUNIA, a DJ from Berlin who entered the electronic music scene behind the decks as well as as a club worker around 2022. They have begun to take a strong interest in attempting to explore and bring-to-the-dance-floor a mixture of Detroit-influenced techno and house productions.
Berlin’s techno culture has recently been added to Germany’s UNESCO Cultural Heritage list. In light of this, they want to encourage everybody to continuously learn about the rhythmic complexities, the cultural richness and history of electronic dance music as well as the Black pioneers, artists and technicians who paved the way for all of us. We wish you much fun with this amazing podcast, filled with a great selection of techno, house and progressive tracks!

This latest recording is an set from Zoe G at Meraki which took place in the traditional Kaurna land that is currently known as Brown Hill Creek.

It's a privilege to share this recording from Zoe - she is currently one of my favourite selectors in Tandanya/Adelaide. Only recently entering the club scene with her standout night at Ancient World called GLOSS, her parties have a focus on femme/non-binary artists and platforming new or upcoming members of this community.

Despite many budding aspects of our underground electronic scene, it is still rare to enter a space at 9-10pm and be catapulted into a vibrant, colourful and heaving club (with the in-house lights still switched on), full of pure dance floor energy. Every Gloss party i’ve been to is without fail a testament to the genuine vibrance and positive energy in her community that she proudly represents and platforms.

Every time she hops behind a set of decks Zoe brings ultimate peak time energy that could be described as a mixture of new school trance/prog and acid. I can't wait to continue dancing to those infectious snare rolls every chance I get!!
